Beautiful Scenery Driving north on the Jayuro highway towards Munsan, past Paju Book City, you'll find Pit Boys BBQ, a Texas barbecue platter restaurant that gained fame from its appearance on the TV show 'Extreme Job'.

The restaurant occupies an entire large building, and the interior is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate many guests.

With a main building, an annex, and a large courtyard in between, there's plenty of space. Unfortunately, due to the rain, the outdoor area and rooftop were closed, so we settled in a pleasant spot indoors.

The view from the window overlooks the vast rice paddies and fields of Paju. The scenery would be even better in sunnier weather, but even on a cloudy, rainy day, the open view wasn't bad.

The interior is clean, and families were comfortably enjoying their meals in the centrally located annex.

The restaurant serves the meat already cooked. While they offer a variety of dishes, the main attraction is the 2-3 person platter, priced at ₩79,000. The staff suggested that the portion might be small and recommended other dishes, but the portion was actually quite substantial.

The Texas barbecue platter is served on a hot plate with a complete set of sides. It includes ribs, brisket, and shredded pulled pork, along with carrots, coleslaw, and mini buns for making burger-style sandwiches.

The ribs are prepared in Texas barbecue style, and the pulled pork is tender and finely shredded.

Instead of eating the meat separately, it's fun to stuff it into the mini buns and make your own sandwiches. Sanitary gloves are provided, so I recommend using your hands instead of a fork for a more relaxed experience.

Overall, the portion size and taste are decent. Since the meat is not grilled right at the table, it can get cold if you eat slowly. However, you can still enjoy a relaxed and leisurely meal. While the price may seem a bit high compared to the composition, it's worth a visit for a first-time experience while taking a trip to Paju.
