I recently visited PalPal Yang Daechang, a restaurant famous in Haeundae, Busan for its amazing *yang daechang* (grilled small and large intestines). It's been a local favorite for over 10 years.

Yang Fried Rice (10,000 KRW)
Gopchang Ramen (7,000 KRW)

First up was the assorted platter! The quality was incredible!

The staff grills everything for you, which is a huge plus.

The heart meat (*yeomtong*) was so tender, and the *yang* (tripe) was incredibly chewy. Each bite brought a burst of happiness.

We saved the *daechang* (large intestine) for last! Eating it with the various side dishes prevented it from being too greasy, and we enjoyed it to the very end.

The combination of white kimchi and *gongchae namul* (a type of pickled stem lettuce) was fantastic.

Next, the *gopchang* ramen!

This is a must-order alongside the grilled platter.

It had a slight *gamjatang* (pork spine stew) flavor and cut through any remaining greasiness. It was the perfect complement to the rich *gopchang*, cleansing the palate with each bite.

Even someone like me, who doesn't handle greasy food well and has a smaller appetite, managed to finish all three dishes!
