Otsukare House: A Hidden Gem in Hapjeong & Mangwon for Curry and Lemon Soba!
Hello everyone!
I've found a restaurant that completely caters to my taste in the trendy Mangwon and Hapjeong area!
It's Otsukare House!
I've actually wanted to visit this place since it was called 'Omu-ssang Karakaldes', but it feels like the name has changed and the Instagrammable vibe has been greatly upgraded ✨.
It's located right between Hapjeong and Mangwon stations, making it super accessible 👍.
The exterior is absolutely stunning!
It has a Japanese alleyway vibe, and even the small waiting chairs and signs in front are perfect photo spots 📸.
I was completely blown away by the aesthetic...
If you're looking for a great restaurant in Seogyo-dong or Mangwon, you have to come here.
It's also perfect for a date.
The interior is really cozy and pretty 😍.
With its wood-tone interior, low lighting, and cute little props,
it's impossible not to take pictures 🤳. The atmosphere is amazing 🤩.
After much deliberation because everything on the menu looked delicious, I ordered:
🍖 Meat Lover Hamburg Curry
🍋 Lemon Soba
🥤 Coke
These are the three items I ordered. :)
There are even small guides, so even first-timers can enjoy their meal without any difficulty!
It's bound to be delicious, seriously.
The side dishes and salad are also served beautifully,
and the chicken broth is self-serve.
They even serve Coke in adorable glasses lol.

The Meat Lover Hamburg Curry is a menu item for true meat lovers.
The rich, deep meaty flavor and the savory taste that spreads smoothly are insane.
It's unbelievable when you mix it with rice 😭.
This place truly is a curry 맛집 (delicious restaurant) in Hapjeong and Mangwon.
You can tell the sauce is homemade, and there are instructions on each table on how to eat it for optimal deliciousness!
If you sprinkle it with basil sauce and eat it with rice like this...
I'm in heaven.
I even included a GIF so you can see the cheese stretching lol. It's amazing.

Lemon Soba!
The refreshing lemon scent awakens your appetite 🤤.
If you take a bite of this at the moment the Hamburg curry is starting to feel slightly rich, it's fantastic.
The combination is so perfect that I'm genuinely glad I ordered them together 👍.
Eating the chicken broth with the curry is also
incredibly savory!
Highly recommend ㅎㅎ.
The owner's sense is impeccable...
They even gave me candy on my way out... 🥺
