Oshi (Mangwon Branch)

A Must-Visit for Okonomiyaki & Yakisoba

Address: 48, World Cup-ro 17-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoul

Business Hours: 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Last Order at 9:50 PM)

Hello! I visited Mangwon-dong with a friend over the weekend.

The atmosphere was great, and I want to introduce a delicious okonomiyaki restaurant!

We arrived around 1 PM on a Sunday, and there were two groups ahead of us in line. We waited about 10 minutes, and the wait was relatively quick.

While waiting, there was a fun paper where you could write messages to the person next to you, which you can stick on the wall!

Oshi is known as a representative restaurant in Mangwon-dong and has appeared on various broadcasts, guaranteeing its deliciousness.

To wait for a table, follow these steps:

  1. Register for a wait at the kiosk upon arrival.
  2. Enter when your number is called.
  3. All members of your party must be present to enter!

You can also place your order at the kiosk while waiting. I recommend deciding what to eat beforehand, as we spent quite a bit of time at the kiosk!

We ordered the following menu items:

  • Negi Oshinomiya - 17,000₩
  • Yakisoba with Pork Belly Roll - 14,500₩

The interior features a cozy atmosphere with bar seating and a couple of tables for four. We sat at the bar table near the entrance, where the setup of dishes and utensils made us feel welcomed.

We could see the staff cooking, and if you sit at the front, it would be fun to watch them prepare your meal!

Ordering is easy with a QR code that shows the menu, and you can also order via your phone, which was super convenient!

The thick okonomiyaki looked delicious, especially since we were very hungry at the time. Our first dish, the Yakisoba with Pork Belly Roll, was served with melted cheese and egg on top, rolled with yakisoba noodles.

The cheese was incredibly tasty, and the combination of flavors was delightful. I couldn't resist ordering a beer to go with it!

Next, we enjoyed the Negi Oshinomiya, a signature dish characterized by the sweet flavor of green onions and cabbage. They even added four shrimp as a complimentary service!

This place is perfect for a date or gathering with friends, offering a great atmosphere and delicious food. If you're looking for a nice spot in Mangwon, Oshi is the place to be!
