Onggoljin Chueotang: A Must-Try Loach Soup Restaurant in Goseong

What kind of stamina food do you usually eat in the summer?
I always make sure to have *chueotang* (loach soup) during the summer. When we found out that my baby, Ddudu, was conceived, I remember eating so much *chueotang* because I heard it was good for implantation!
*Chueotang* can sometimes be fishy or have a muddy taste if not made properly. Today, I'd like to introduce Onggoljin Chueotang, a restaurant that everyone loves!

Location & Parking
There isn't a separate parking lot, so you'll have to park on the side of the road in front of the restaurant. It's a side street, but it's not too crowded with cars, so parking is relatively easy!
Menu
Their main dish is *chueotang*, and I highly recommend the 'Siraegi Chueotang' (Loach Soup with Dried Radish Greens).
I heard that they have their own loach farm! Doesn't that sound reliable?
The side dishes include a fried egg or a boiled egg, which they also produce themselves! It's a blue egg (Cheongran), and it's really delicious.
Sizzling hot!
This is Gangwon-style *chueotang*, so it's based on red pepper paste (gochujang). That might be why it's not muddy and tastes very clean.
Overall Review
Loaches raised directly on their farm.
Thanks to a bowl of warm *chueotang*, my stomach felt full, and my tired heart felt comforted. It was a day where I realized again that food isn't just about filling your stomach, but it's also a small, medicinal comfort.
I heard they also do deliveries, so please inquire by phone!
If you need a hearty meal, I highly recommend trying *chueotang* here at least once!
TMI) As places to visit after your meal, I recommend 'Geonbongsa Temple' and 'Geojin Beach'!
