My Culinary Adventure in Seoul

Hello, it's Kyungtony!
Today, I bring you the sequel to my previous Seoul travel diary: Seoul Travel Part 2!
(Every visit to Seoul leaves me with wonderful memories!)
In this part, we indulge in food, food, and more food!
(Featuring "Betong", "Haidi Lao", and "Five Guys"...)
We decided to spend the afternoon in Seongsu-dong.
After eating, what's next? Of course, we need to visit a café!
I've heard there's a beautiful café famous for its salt bread, so off we go!
The café we visited is "Betong Seongsu".
While waiting, we snapped some pictures!
As a bread lover and a salt bread enthusiast, we were excited! We visited on a weekend and had to wait about 30-40 minutes.
Note: The waiting area is outdoors, so it can be cold in winter!
It's located between exits 3 and 4 of Seongsu Station. We recognized it right away when we saw the salt bread model and the line of people!
Since we came from Daegu, we stood in line to eat inside the café.
Hello, salt bread!
Isn't the café interior beautiful? The bread is delicious, and the café is gorgeous—what a treat!
My brother and I picked our bread to eat on-site!
They were still baking, so we knew fresh bread would be out soon.
My beloved salt breads!
Are we the ones who just ate? Yes, that's us!
Did we only order one coffee to eat lots of bread? Yes, that's right!
Can you see my brother's skills in ordering?
That's why I gain weight...
We devoured three breads inside the café and also bought some to take home.
We even had to eat the basic salt bread since it was sold out earlier!
While we were there, we took a picture with the Christmas tree in the hotel since it was the holiday season.
After a little break to recharge, we headed to Haidi Lao for dinner!
Hi there! It's my first time at Haidi Lao!
Honestly, I was the one who suggested we try it out.
Everyone in the MZ generation eats like this!
My first Haidi Lao experience!
I searched for tips on Instagram before going.
Can you tell just by looking at the pictures?
I ordered one dish based on tips, and my brother also approved of the sauce!
Surprisingly, the taste was great!
However, I think it's not very cost-effective for two people...
We ended up spending around 100,000 won for just the two of us.
I think it would be better for groups of four or more.
Our next morning began with breakfast!
Breakfast is a must for couples!
We stayed at the Intercontinental Seoul Parnas, and I planned everything perfectly!
So this time, we had breakfast at the Intercontinental.
Before heading home, we made sure to enjoy Seoul a bit more!
Winter visits are highly recommended!
I've been to Seoul several times but never visited the Starfield COEX Library!
It was right near our hotel, so we had to go!
Be warned, it was very crowded!
We took some great photos!
During our coffee break, I was thrilled to find my favorite Arabica coffee!
It's the best Arabica coffee I've ever had!
It was in COEX, and I couldn't miss it!
I ordered a Kyoto latte, and since my brother might want some too, I got it iced.
As I was coming down the escalator, I remembered I had to take a picture with the tree!
My brother took the picture using the iPhone's wide-angle feature.
And just like that, my fulfilling Seoul trip came to an end!
Actually, I had one more thing to eat!
We stopped by Five Guys at Seoul Station since there isn't one in Daegu!
It was a bit challenging for us since it was our first time ordering!
I got a little hamburger, and my brother ordered a cheeseburger.
The prices were a bit high, but the peanuts were a nice touch!
They generously give you peanuts while you wait for your burger!
And that's how our food-filled adventure in Seoul ended!
Here are some pictures from our trip:
