Mibundang in Myeongji is a great place to enjoy a quiet meal of Vietnamese rice noodles. It's so good, you'll be happy even if you're dining alone!

Hello, it's Dubu's Mom! :)

Yesterday evening, I had some soju and grilled pork belly with my sister and brother-in-law after a long time. We promised to cure our hangovers the next day, so as soon as I woke up, I headed straight to Myeongji.

After a heavy night of drinking, nothing beats a good broth to soothe the soul!

That's why I went to Mibundang, a famous Vietnamese rice noodle restaurant in Myeongji. My sister, myself, and even my picky brother-in-law were all incredibly satisfied. It completely erased the memory of the grilled pork belly we had the day before. Let me introduce you to Mibundang!

Getting There & Location Information:

Address: #141, 1st Floor, Sales Facility Building, 41, Myeongjigukje2-ro, Gangseo-gu, Busan

Operating Hours: Daily 11:00 ~ 21:00 (Break Time 15:00 ~ 17:00)

Mibundang is located in the central commercial district of Myeongji International New City. You can park for free in the commercial building's parking lot, which is very convenient. After parking, we took the elevator to the first floor.

Mibundang, located on the first floor of the commercial building, has a neat and simple wood-tone interior that made a great first impression. You can order in advance using the kiosk outside the restaurant before entering.

They offer dine-in, fully cooked, semi-cooked, and take-out options. Mibundang also provides cool lemon water for customers waiting in line. The owner is so thoughtful!

We each grabbed a glass of cool water and headed inside.

The interior of the restaurant is very quiet and comfortable, and there were many people dining alone. All the tables are bar-style seating, and there are coat racks behind the long counter table to hang your outerwear, and space under the seats to store your belongings. Mibundang in Myeongji may be small, but it has everything you need.

The three of us sat down in a row at the innermost seats. I noticed that there was storage space for cutlery and tissues below, and sauces were placed above. They really maximize space without making it feel cluttered!

Although I came with my sister and her husband to cure our hangovers, I felt like I could come here alone and enjoy a peaceful and happy meal. Because many people come to eat alone, it's a quiet and relaxing place. Please keep in mind that loud conversations are not allowed.

The counter seating allows you to see the food being prepared, which gave me a lot of confidence in their food preparation. Our rice noodles arrived faster than expected. My sister and brother-in-law ordered the Brisket & Tendon Rice Noodles, and I ordered the Brisket Rice Noodles. We also ordered the Assorted Appetizer Platter, which was served neatly.

Just looking at it, the broth was clean and the portion sizes were incredibly generous.

It was piled high with plenty of brisket, tendon, and vegetables. We added sauce to our taste. I used the method I learned from my ex-boyfriend for eating rice noodles neatly and deliciously.

Making the sauce separately and mixing it with the noodles allows you to enjoy a cleaner broth. The broth is clear and savory, and the first spoonful immediately felt like it was purifying my stomach. It wasn't too oily and was very refreshing.

If you need cilantro (coriander), you can ask for it separately! My brother-in-law asked for cilantro while we were eating. I can't eat cilantro, so I just watched him. He kept saying the cilantro was really fresh. It must have been really fresh.

The Assorted Appetizer Platter we ordered was also delicious, including buffalo wings, sweet potato spring rolls, and cute little money bag spring rolls.

Overall Review of Mibundang, a Vietnamese Rice Noodle Restaurant in Myeongji:

Mibundang in Myeongji was a satisfying rice noodle restaurant whether you eat alone or with family. In particular, the clean interior that really understands the solo dining experience, the unlimited refill system,

And above all, the power of the broth! It was a healing bowl that made me completely forget the grilled pork belly and alcohol from the night before.

A day of purifying my mood with savory broth. I highly recommend you experience it too.
