Lunch Spot Review: 냉동고집 at Samsung Station
104, 517 Samsung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

I recently explored a lunch spot for company gatherings called 냉동고집 (Frozen Meat House) near Samsung Station.
Our company typically utilizes lunch hours for gatherings instead of evening dinners, which can be challenging since many restaurants with great dinner menus only serve in the evening.
Fortunately, 냉동고집 is open during lunch hours, so I decided to check it out.
Address: 1st Floor, 104, 517 Samsung-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Operating Hours: Weekdays 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Weekends 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
The location is conveniently situated between Samsung Station and Seolleung Station.
Walking from Samsung Station along the main road, you turn right at the POSCO intersection and enter the alley to find the 냉동고집 sign.
It takes about 13 minutes to walk from Samsung Station, but since our office is near COEX, it took us less than 10 minutes.
Although there is a break time from 2 PM to 4 PM, it's short, making it a good option for a quick visit after a date at COEX.
냉동고집 is cleaner compared to other meat restaurants near Samsung Station.
The exterior is decorated in white tones, giving it a clean café vibe from a distance, and the interior is spacious and comfortable.

When looking for a lunch spot, cleanliness is crucial, especially since we return to the office afterward.
냉동고집 maintains a grease-free environment and has good ventilation, making it pleasant.
The interior is larger than expected, making it ideal for gatherings.
There are ample tables for four, with spacious gaps in between, so it doesn’t feel cramped.
Even smaller teams can comfortably occupy 2-3 tables here.

If you are looking for a place near Samsung Station that can accommodate your team, 냉동고집 is a great choice.
They offer lunch sets that come pre-cooked, which is convenient for lunch gatherings.
They have two types of lunch sets: pork belly and spicy stir-fried pork, both served neatly from the kitchen.
The pork belly lunch set costs 15,000 won, while the spicy stir-fried pork set costs 12,000 won.
Adding a stew to the meal is just 5,000 won, making it affordable to enjoy a warm soup with your meal.
I ordered the squid stew, which was delicious and hearty, making it a satisfying meal.
Overall, everyone in the team enjoyed their meal, and I look forward to returning for dinner sometime.
