Lunch Review: Haeokdam at Lotte Department Store Myeongdong - Worth a Try!

There are many restaurants in the basement of Lotte Department Store in Myeongdong, but only a couple have separate dining spaces. Haeokdam is one of them. It's a bit pricey, but the food comes out quite quickly, and it's clean, so I've been there twice for company lunch.
I tried the Jeju grilled hairtail and the stir-fried squid. The hairtail was around 30,000 won, which is expensive. The stir-fried squid was around 18,000 won. It's more expensive than other hot stone pot rice brands, but considering it's in a department store, and the hairtail was quite large and plump, I think it's worth trying at least once.
The side dishes that come with the meal are neat and clean. The steamed egg is Japanese style. It was delicious the first time I went, but the second time it was a bit fishy, so I only ate half of it. The pickled seafood also seems to change each time. The stir-fried squid wasn't the flavor I expected, but it wasn't bad.
The hot stone pot rice here is really delicious. I don't know where the rice is from, but it's the best rice I've had while eating out recently.
I'd go more often if it were in the early to mid 10,000 won range, but it's a bit expensive for a work lunch, so I'm sad I can't go more often.
