Let me introduce you to a cafe I've been obsessed with lately.

It's Koon, a cafe near Gangnam Station known for its aesthetic atmosphere, financiers, and shaved ice. I was so impressed with the ambiance, taste, and service that I had to write a review.

1. Location

Koon is conveniently located near Sinnonhyeon Station, making it easily accessible by public transportation. If you're driving, there's parking space for about two cars in front of the cafe.

They offer unique menu items that will keep you coming back for more. I can't introduce everything, but I'll show you the desserts I enjoyed with my friends!

2. Interior

The exterior has a striking orange color, but inside, the clean interior exudes sophistication. From the tables to the chairs, everything has its own unique charm.

The props are so stylish that they naturally catch your eye. You can sense the owner's taste throughout the cafe.

There's a financier display case on one side. They bake the financiers themselves, so you can enjoy unique flavors here.

3. Menu

The menu offers a variety of options, from shaved ice to coffee, smoothies, ades, and teas. You can choose according to your preference.

Although many places serve shaved ice, it's hard to find a place that does it well. Everything here is delicious, so choose whatever you like!

I ordered using the kiosk, and every photo made me want to try everything, so I ended up ordering a lot.

4. Handmade Asia Snowflake Shaved Ice

One friend wanted the handmade acai bowl snowflake shaved ice, and another wanted the mango cheese snowflake shaved ice, so we just ordered everything. The handmade acai bowl snowflake shaved ice looked so healthy.

Eating it with blueberries, various fruits, and acai berries didn't feel like just eating dessert. I wanted to eat it every day.

Eating it with bananas and nuts made it so satisfying. And it wasn't too sweet, which I loved.

The mango cheese snowflake shaved ice was also amazing! Choosing these two was a stroke of genius. It was so delicious!

The mango was perfectly frozen, giving a refreshing sensation with every bite. It was also well-ripened and flavorful.

The combination of ice cream, mango syrup, and snowflake shaved ice was incredible. My friend said she would only eat mango cheese shaved ice here from now on.

5. Dubai Financier

I heard their Dubai chocolate is famous, so I ordered the Dubai financier. They used plenty of ingredients, so the flavor was amazing.

I don't usually like Dubai chocolate, but this was different. I felt like I was experiencing the true taste of Dubai chocolate here.

The sweet potato mattang financier looks just like mattang, right? It was another flavor that I loved!

The perfect balance of sweetness, the richness of the baked pastry, and the flavor of sweet potato were all excellent. I wondered how much effort the owner put in to create such amazing financiers.

6. Plum Ade

The plum ade also had a great flavor. I think this place caters to everyone's taste, not just adults.

The sweet and sour plum flavor was amazing, and every sip was impressive. I can't describe how flavorful the plum was!

Since the financiers were so delicious, I had to get them boxed up. The packaging was so pretty that it would make a great gift.

7. Overall Impression

Sinnonhyeon is such a trendy area that cafes and restaurants come and go quickly. But I hope this place stays here for a long time.

It's rare to find a place where you can taste handmade drinks and financiers. I highly recommend supporting this place!
