Today, we're excited to introduce you to Kkobsae, a fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant in Deokcheon, Busan, that we discovered during a date and can't wait to share!
Lately, we've been exploring new places and were hoping to find a hidden gem for Korean BBQ near Deokcheon.
And we found it – Kkobsae!
What's great about this place? They grill the meat for you, and they use a special cut of pork, including galbi (ribs)!
The quality of the meat is simply outstanding!

Once you enter the alley, you'll see a cool sign that says "Kkobsae."

Ambiance & Interior: Perfect!
The first thing you'll see when you enter is a certificate verifying their use of 100% Korean pork!
These days, many places use imported meat from Chile or other countries, but here, you can trust that they're using top-quality, certified Korean pork!
There are also interesting interior design elements to appreciate throughout the restaurant!
Famous Taekwondo athletes and golfers have even visited and left their autographs, so you can be sure it's a popular place. You won't regret your visit!
The main hall can accommodate up to 20-30 people, making it perfect for families, couples, gatherings, and even larger groups. Reservations are possible!
Meat Quality: Insane!
The side dishes were also clean and delicious! The pickled chili peppers were especially fantastic!
From white kimchi and seasoned green onions to wasabi and salted seafood, everything was perfect!
The steamed egg was also incredible! Savory, soft, and delicious!
We ordered three servings of the Fresh Pork Ribs (10,500 KRW per serving)!
The plating was so appealing! You could immediately see how fresh it was!
As we mentioned, Kkobsae is a Korean BBQ restaurant that grills the meat for you!
The staff are experts at grilling meat, and they know the basics well!
They start by greasing the grill with pork fat and waiting for the temperature to rise.
Once the grill is hot enough, they add the vegetables first, followed by the meat!
While they were grilling the meat, I noticed that their timing to achieve perfect caramelization was impeccable!
Perfect grilling!
Nicely browned on both sides! I loved that I could just sit back and eat!
After the meat is cooked, they even cut it into bite-sized pieces!

The meat was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth with absolutely no gamey smell!
The cuts were beautifully scored, so every bite was filled with juicy goodness!
Enjoy it with various side dishes!
We were so satisfied that we ordered the Doenjang Udon.
The Doenjang Udon, a combination of savory soybean paste and chewy udon noodles, was truly a must-try!
