Today, I, BangBangBang, will review Kim Sung-hwan's Beef Head Soup, a renowned restaurant in Yonghyeon Market, Sungui-dong, Incheon.

As a beef head soup lover, I visited Kim Sung-hwan's, famous for its delicious beef head soup and known as one of Incheon's best soup restaurants.

It opens at 8 AM, making it a great spot for breakfast in Sungui-dong. It's already a well-loved local favorite among residents of Sungui-dong and Yonghyeon-dong.

Kim Sung-hwan's in Yonghyeon Market offers both beef head soup and boiled beef slices, perfect for a meal or a light drink. They even provide information on the benefits of alcohol for those who enjoy a drink. As expected from a place that pairs well with alcohol, there were several middle-aged men enjoying solo meals with drinks inside.

The interior has a rustic charm, giving off a vibe that tells you it's a real local favorite. Kim Sung-hwan's Beef Head Soup carries the marks of time, assuring you of its deliciousness.

The main menu is simple: soup and boiled meat. Does a great restaurant need many options? Kim Sung-hwan's Beef Head Soup in Yonghyeon Market focuses on their beef head soup.

If you visit before 11 AM for breakfast in Sungui-dong, you can get a ₩2,100 discount on the ₩12,000 beef head soup, making it ₩9,900. Since they open at 8 AM, it's a great place to start your day with a hearty soup in Yonghyeon-dong.

The basic side dishes included kimchi, radish kimchi, and sauce. As soon as they came out, I tried them, and the kimchi and radish kimchi were amazing. It proves that a great restaurant starts with great kimchi.

There's a self-service bar for refills, which was clean and well-maintained.

"Ding-dong~ Your Beef Head Soup is served!"

The beef head soup came out bubbling hot in a stone pot, with the white broth steaming invitingly.

Beef head soup is a nutritious dish perfect for revitalizing your energy. It's high in protein and low in cholesterol, making it a great choice for dieters like me. It's a truly local Incheon favorite.

The benefits of beef head soup have been recorded even in the Goryeosa (History of Goryeo), and it has long been loved as a restorative food for those with weak bodies.

The soup is filled with chewy beef head meat and glass noodles, making it very satisfying with a bowl of rice.

Perhaps because it's run by owner-chef Kim Sung-hwan, the depth of the broth was different. The meat had no gamey smell, and the deeply simmered broth was delicious.

"Ding-dong~ Your Boiled Beef Slices (Medium) are served!"

Wow... this visual is crazy.

The boiled beef slices included head meat, beef tongue, and cheek meat - all precious cuts. Each cut had a different texture, with some being savory and others being chewy.

Happy Time

The kimchi and radish kimchi were both delicious, making them great to eat with both the soup and the boiled beef slices. There was also a generous amount of garlic chives underneath the slices.

The boiled beef slices at Kim Sung-hwan's in Yonghyeon Market were among the top three I've ever had. The meat was tender, juicy, and completely without any gamey smell.

"Ding-dong~ Your Garlic Chive Pancake is served!"

I was debating between the garlic chive pancake and the cabbage pancake, but I don't regret choosing the garlic chive pancake. The perfectly crispy pancake, with the right balance of batter and garlic chives, was delicious.

Every dish was delicious, probably because it's run by chef Kim Sung-hwan, who has dedicated himself to beef head soup.

Kim Sung-hwan's Beef Head Soup, a local Incheon favorite where he also provides franchise training and education that attracts many people from across the country, I highly recommend it!
