Introducing the Newly Opened Dootoom Gangnam: Premium Korean BBQ Experience

We're excited to introduce the newly opened Dootoom Gangnam!
Located just a 5-minute walk from Seolleung Station Exit 5, it's right in front of the Sangnok Hall.
I visited in early September, and even then, reservations on Catch Table were unavailable. I managed to get in as a walk-in around 5:40 PM!
Operating Hours:
Weekdays: 11:00 AM - 2:00 AM (Last Order 1:00 AM)
Saturday: 1:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Last Order 1:00 AM)
Sunday: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Last Order 9:00 PM)
Dootoom is known as one of the top 3 pork belly restaurants in Seoul, originally from Yongsan Chungjeongno. The Gangnam branch is already very popular.
Free parking is available in front of the restaurant. Valet parking is also available for ₩5,000 (11:00 AM ~ 10:00 PM).
From the entrance, you can see the aged meats. They have both pork and beef.
The dining area is spacious, making it great for company dinners. They also have two private rooms for 8 people in the back, though I didn't get a chance to see them myself!
The side dishes are well-presented and are set up immediately according to the number of people.
We started with pork belly and later ordered additional pork shoulder.
The charcoal grill was set up perfectly. The grill plate felt unique.
As the restaurant's name suggests ('Dootoom' means thick), the meat comes out thick, and they grill it for you until the end, which was great.
The meat quality is excellent, and the pork shoulder was juicy. I personally liked the pork shoulder more than the pork belly!
We also ordered a white wine. They have a diverse selection of drinks, including champagne and whiskey. They also have highballs! Check below for corkage information.
ezday, who can't drink soju or beer but enjoys wine and highballs a little, was very happy.
Even though we were full, the side menu options were so diverse that we ended up ordering the truffle Jjajaroni after much deliberation.
We cleared the truffle Jjajaroni topped with black truffle too...
Dootoom offers a variety of meats, side dishes, and drinks, making it fun to choose. Because it's newly opened, the food felt clean and the service was excellent overall.
These days, Korean BBQ restaurants are increasingly becoming standardized in terms of aging methods, side menus, drinks, and service. Dootoom definitely gives off that vibe!
Please refer to the menu below. And with that, I'll wrap up today's review.
