Incredible Korean Beef (Hanwoo) Experience in Geomdan, Incheon!
We were in the Geomdan area of Incheon when my pregnant friend suddenly craved Korean beef (Hanwoo).
That's how we discovered this Hanwoo Butcher Restaurant in Geomdan, Incheon.
You HAVE to see the marbling on this beef!!
Wow, it's seriously the prettiest marbling I've ever seen.
They use top 3% grade beef, so it was incredibly delicious when grilled.
You know how they only serve *cheonyeop* (omasum) and *yukhoe* (beef tartare) at places that use fresh beef?
Seeing that immediately assured me of the quality.
No unpleasant smells at all, and it was perfectly chewy and delicious, so of course it was fresh!!
After trying the *yukhoe* as an appetizer, I couldn't resist ordering a full portion.
Their *yukhoe* sauce is absolutely insane.
It wasn't too salty, so it didn't overpower the flavor of the beef, and they give you plenty of Korean pear.
They offer a variety of cuts, so it would be a great place to bring your parents!
The restaurant itself is also spacious, so if you make a reservation in advance, they could easily accommodate large groups.
And this *doenjang jjigae* (soybean paste stew)...
It must be because they use Hanwoo, because it was so savory, nutty, rich, and spicy.
A perfect match with rice!!
Above all, the owner is so friendly and passionate about their beef.
Seeing the quality of the beef, I completely understood why.
