Recently, I had a hearty get-together with my colleagues at a renowned restaurant in Seongbuk-gu, and I'm excited to share my experience. We enjoyed a high-quality beef platter at a reasonable price.

Ilbeonji Butcher Shop, which I visited, is a well-known meat restaurant representing Seokgwan-dong. The neat and stylish exterior immediately caught my eye.
It's conveniently located right in front of Exit 5 of Dolgoji Station, a significant advantage. Thanks to this, even colleagues visiting for the first time found it without any trouble.
Ample parking space is available (free of charge) behind the building, making it accessible by both subway and car. Free parking is available after the meal by informing the staff.
The restaurant boasts an impressive large interior, approximately 100 pyeong. Seeing the many customers enjoying their meals heightened my expectations.
We made sure to grab disposable aprons to protect our clothes from stains. We wanted to focus on enjoying our meal comfortably.
After being seated, we quickly scanned the menu on the wall and ordered the 'Big Beef Platter,' which was the first item on the menu, without hesitation.
Soon, the table was quickly set with the ordered meat and various side dishes. The neat and tidy setting was very satisfying.
I could feel their dedication to the vegetable side dishes. They were freshly prepared every day, remaining vibrant and crisp.
We could refill any 부족한 반찬 at the self-service bar. It was great to be able to use it freely without having to call the staff every time.
The 된장찌개 (soybean paste stew) in the center of the grill was one of this restaurant's charming points. Taking a spoonful while enjoying the meat was excellent, and refills were provided.
I highly recommend the grilling cheese as a side dish. The firm texture of the mozzarella cheese suggested excellent quality.
The main dish, 'Big Beef Platter,' felt special from the plating. Sirloin, chuck flap tail, hanging tender, and ribs were neatly arranged on a wooden board.
The vibrant color of the chuck flap tail was simply beautiful. As soon as it hit the grill, the sizzling sound filled our ears.
The meat was chewy and juicy. I could see why people raved about this place. It's definitely a top restaurant in Seongbuk-gu.
The sweet and sour green onion salad helped to cut through any richness. It stimulated the appetite, making it a win-win.
The glossy hanging tender, with its melting fat layers, was truly captivating. We piled it high on a tray and resumed our feast with genuine enthusiasm.
Dipping the meat in salt allowed us to fully appreciate its unique flavor. The quality was so outstanding that smiles blossomed on our faces.
We also enjoyed the onion slices, which played a significant role. Even though we ate a lot of beef, we never got tired of it.
The thinly sliced beef brisket offered a different texture and flavor. The fact that it could be eaten almost immediately after being placed on the grill was a bonus.
The fat between the muscles created a marbled effect, resulting in a melt-in-your-mouth texture. We actively used the green onion salad to prevent any 느끼함.
We enjoyed refreshing Somaek (soju and beer) and continued our pleasant buzz. With such excellent food, the drinks were bound to taste good.
The 육회 (beef tartare) we ordered as a side dish boasted the highest level of freshness. The color was so vibrant, likely due to the premium quality Korean beef.
We enjoyed the rich flavor of the meat with egg yolk and pear.
In the meantime, we conquered other beef menus. As a tip, adding beef brisket to the 된장찌개 makes the broth even richer.
Moreover, the fact that this 된장찌개 was refillable was very satisfying in terms of service. The delicious food and friendly service made it clear why the revisit rate is so high.
