It had been a long time since I visited Gwangjang Market, so I decided to try some yukhoe!
I used to eat a lot of Yukhoe Bibimbap (Yukbi) when I worked at Gwangjang Market... memories!
Gwangjang Market's yukhoe is so famous that it seems to attract both Koreans and foreigners!
I decided to go to Hyeongje Yukhoe among all the options!
Exterior: The restaurant is located in the 'Yukhoe Alley' and is very close to the entrance of Gwangjang Market.
Interior: I couldn't take many pictures because it was crowded, but the restaurant is quite spacious and pleasant!
Apparently, it was also featured on the popular show 'Pungja Ttogan House'! :)
Menu: Yukhoe, Yukbi (Yukhoe Bibimbap)
They have various types of Yukhoe, as well as Yukhoe Bibimbap, Yuk Sashimi, and Tangtangi (live octopus).
I even saw 'Snowflake Yukhoe,' which had cheese on top! It was fascinating.
I ordered Yukhoe and Yukhoe Bibimbap to fully enjoy the taste of the raw beef.
The basic side dishes and beef radish soup (sogogi-muguk) that come with the meal.
The radish and beef in this beef radish soup were so delicious... A bowl of this soup with bibimbap is the perfect meal.

The Yukhoe, seasoned just right, is topped with an egg yolk!
Looks incredibly fresh, doesn't it?
Mix it well after breaking the yolk and enjoy!
There are slices of pear underneath, so mixing and eating it together was a harmonious and delicious experience!
Sesame oil is also served separately, and it's delicious to dip the Yukhoe in it. It's pure nuttiness...
Next up, the Bibimbap!
The Bibimbap has quite a bit of Yukhoe, but if you want even more, you can order the 'special' (deluxe) version!
True to its reputation as a Gwangjang Market Yukhoe 맛집 (delicious restaurant), the Bibimbap is loaded with Yukhoe...
Mix, mix!
Personally, I found this Yukhoe Bibimbap incredibly delicious.
I already like bibimbap, but the sauce was delicious, and there was plenty of Yukhoe, so I could eat it generously!
