I had a truly relaxing and healing experience in a comfortable atmosphere, so I'd like to introduce this great lunch spot in Gwangju's Cheomdan district to you all.

1. Location of Honest Sixty Cheomdan Siridan-gil Branch
The restaurant was very accessible, just a 1-minute walk from Cheomdan CGV. As soon as I saw the stylish exterior, my heart fluttered with excitement.
2. Interior Atmosphere
As soon as I stepped inside, I was impressed by the luxurious atmosphere created by the soft lighting and table settings. It was a perfect mood for a date or a gathering with friends.
It seems that Chef Choi Hong-il, with 15 years of experience, offers various fusion Western dishes, and I got the impression that the overall atmosphere and setting were exceptional.
3. Menu Introduction
The menu was simple and uncluttered, but the dish photos and spice level indicators were clear and easy to understand, making it easy to choose a dish.
Unlike other brunch restaurants, I was surprised by the very reasonable prices of coffee and beverages. I was pleased that it was a great lunch spot in Gwangju's Cheomdan district where you can enjoy a meal without any burden.
4. The Table Setting
As I filled the table with the dishes I ordered, I was impressed by the artistry of the plating. I was able to enjoy the visual appeal of the various dishes I ordered, focusing on the oxtail risotto and jumbo pasta.
Even with just one carefully made handmade pickle, I could feel how much effort was put into the ingredients, so my expectations were high. And then I started tasting each of the dishes I ordered.
5. Home Cheese Salad
The refreshing citrus home cheese salad, as the name suggests, combined fresh citrus fruits, soft homemade ricotta cheese, and crisp vegetables, perfectly conveying the impression of a great lunch spot in Gwangju's Cheomdan district.
Even before tasting it, I could tell that they used a generous amount of fresh ingredients. I was satisfied with the combination of various vegetables, fruits, and savory cheese.
The subtle aroma and flavor, rather than being overpowering, played a perfect role as an appetizer. It wasn't too strong but maintained a sense of elegance, enhancing my appetite.
6. Midnight Blue Pop
Next was the Midnight Blue Pop, which had a unique visual. The combination of sweet blueberries, cheese, and dough made me wonder what other surprises this great lunch spot in Gwangju's Cheomdan district would offer.
The thick and chewy dough was topped with a generous amount of deep purple blueberry sauce, and the sweet and sour flavor was excellent.
It blended with the moist cheese, revealing both sweetness and softness at the same time. Instead of clashing, they harmonized beautifully, even creating a mysterious feeling.
The Grilled Tomato Gambas Aglio Olio was impressive with its noodles well blended in olive oil full of shrimp and garlic flavor, and the red, well-grilled tomatoes.
The rich flavor of garlic and olive oil permeated the noodles, giving me the feeling of tasting the essence of oil pasta.
It was a truly blissful feeling to savor the pasta with plump and fairly large shrimp. The texture of the shrimp and the softness of the pasta harmonized perfectly, creating an exquisite harmony.
After seeing the chef's skill in delicately bringing out the inherent flavors of the fresh ingredients, I couldn't help but acknowledge that it was indeed a handmade dining kitchen 맛집 (tasty restaurant).
I took a moment to quench my thirst with a cool drink and prepared my mind to taste the next dish. The menu at this great lunch spot in Gwangju's Cheomdan district never fails to raise expectations.
7. Oxtail Risotto
I was even more excited because it was a signature oxtail risotto with a unique visual that is not easily found elsewhere. I liked the plating so much that I took several pictures and admired it.
The chef at this Cheomdan 맛집 (tasty restaurant) aged the oxtail in a dough made with homemade grape wine, and the oxtail was so tender that it cut easily without being tough at all.
I was worried about whether the harmony of the deeply infused sauce and the soft risotto would go well together, but surprisingly, it boasted a fantastic combination and went down smoothly, which was amazing.
Lastly, the jumbo pasta was also a very satisfying dish, and I was surprised by the generous portion, as the name suggests.
When I cracked a fresh egg yolk on top of the pasta and mixed it gently, a creamier and more savory aroma wafted out, and I knew this was it.
Thanks to the generous portion filled with abundant ingredients, it was more than enough to share with my friend. It was a really great Cheomdan 맛집 (tasty restaurant) to visit with several people and taste a variety of dishes.
Seeing that there was nothing lacking in terms of taste, quantity, and visual appeal, I thought it was indeed a signature pasta. What a wonderful menu that satisfies both quality and value for money!
