Hello everyone! Today, I'm excited to introduce Haemilga Jonggak, a fantastic restaurant near Jonggak Station that's brimming with unique charm. As someone who knows good food, I can confidently recommend this place! Let's dive into the review.

Known as a popular spot for office workers in the Jonggak area, Haemilga Jonggak is so good that it satisfies even the pickiest eaters. Among their various Korean dishes, the dakdoritang (braised spicy chicken stew) is especially popular. The bright and airy interior, combined with the spacious seating, made for a very pleasant dining experience.

소중한 기억

Personally, I highly recommend the buchu dolpan dak suyuk (boiled chicken served on a hot stone with chives). The crispy texture of this dish is incredible - you get both a satisfying crunch and juicy tenderness in every bite!

I visited during lunchtime, and the restaurant was already packed with office workers. I was seated quickly without a wait, which I attribute to their efficient turnover rate. Sharing dishes with my colleagues allowed us to create a variety of flavor combinations. Each dish offered a different texture, making the meal even more enjoyable.

신비로운 모습

I especially loved the kkomak buchu jeon (cockle and chive pancake). It was crispy, savory, and utterly addictive!

While I enjoyed a refreshing lunch, I think Haemilga Jonggak would also be a great place to come with friends in the evening, to enjoy a variety of Korean dishes with a few drinks. The rich and flavorful sunsal gamjatang (pork bone stew without bones) paired perfectly with soju! The meat was tender, and the broth was so rich that I couldn't stop eating it. The relaxed atmosphere encouraged easy conversation, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

평화로운 풍경

The restaurant boasts a clean and sophisticated ambiance, and the second floor, with its great view, is perfect for a date. It's right next to Cheonggyecheon Stream! The tables are also spaced generously, allowing for easy conversation while enjoying your meal. And don't miss the side dishes like the gamjachejeon (potato pancake) and pakimchi (fermented green onion kimchi) - they are must-tries. The gamjachejeon is thin, crispy, and delightfully savory!

평화로운 풍경

To conclude, my dining experience here was incredibly satisfying and rewarding. The gamjatang was easy to eat with all the bones removed, and the side dishes were neatly presented and delicious. The calm atmosphere created a relaxing and enjoyable meal. I highly recommend visiting this endlessly charming gamjatang restaurant in Jonggak! That concludes my review for today. Thank you!
