Gourmet Bridge: A Delicious Pre-Flight Meal at Incheon Airport Terminal 2

I rushed to the airport on an empty stomach to catch my flight to Lisbon, Portugal. While I knew I'd get a meal about an hour after takeoff, the wait seemed too long. So, I decided to check out Gourmet Bridge food court for brunch.
After going through security and entering the duty-free area, I headed towards Gate 252 and went up one floor to find Gourmet Bridge on the 4th floor. There are both escalators and elevators for easy access, even with strollers or wheelchairs.
You can order at the counter with staff or use the self-service kiosks. This seems considerate, especially for older people who might find kiosks difficult to use.
Gourmet Bridge is located opposite the Matina Lounge, so it's easy to find if you're a frequent lounge user.
The Gourmet Bridge food court offers a wide variety of choices, with six main sections: Nature-Inspired Korean Cuisine, Yuksugo Jip (Broth Masters), Guksujeong (Noodle Place), Crispy Katsu, Burger Station, and Bunsik-Gotgan (Korean Snacks). The options are mainly Korean dishes, fast food, and snacks.
Apparently, CJ Freshway runs Gourmet Bridge. That explains the complimentary Twosome Place coffee promotion, but I was too lazy to participate, haha.
I ordered the Naju-style Gomtang (beef bone soup) set from Nature-Inspired Korean Cuisine and the Half & Half pork cutlet set from Crispy Katsu.
They also sell bottled water, barley tea, children's drinks, sodas, and even alcohol!
Behind our seats, a robotic arm was constantly moving. At first, I thought it was dispensing water, but it turned out that after moving for a while, it would strike a hanging xylophone-like instrument to make a sound.
There are plenty of tables and the space is quite large. When your order is ready, your number will appear on the monitor, and you simply pick it up from the corresponding station. It's a pretty standard food court setup.
Here's the Naju-style Gomtang Set.
And here's the Half & Half pork cutlet set.
It was my first time eating at the airport in a while, and the food was surprisingly good, perhaps because it's run by CJ. I didn't expect much from a food court, but it was tastier than I thought! That's when I found out CJ Freshway operates it, haha.
If you sit by the window, you can watch the planes. It was raining on the day of departure, and it was still raining when I returned, even on the weekend! Such is Korea.
The dish return area is located further inside. There's a trash disposal area, and you place your empty dishes on the conveyor belt. The water dispenser is also located here.
If your flight time is awkward and you have a long wait before the in-flight meal, or if you're just feeling peckish, I recommend checking out the Gourmet Bridge food court. It's surprisingly delicious and worth a visit. My family will probably visit again on our next trip!
