First Time at Noryangjin Fish Market: A Hilarious Hangover Story

Hello everyone!
I've always gone to Garak Market, so this was my first time visiting Noryangjin Fish Market.
And what an intense first experience it was!
I thought I was going to die from the hangover...
Honestly, I still don't feel great today. I guess I can't hide my age anymore.
Back in my 20s, I'd be recovered by lunchtime the next day.
Now it's 3 PM... 5 PM... and now a whole day is just gone!
So, let me show you where I went and what I ate!
I bought from Uiri Fish and ate at the restaurant on the second floor.
A friend of mine is a regular there.
It was so crowded there. I think everyone's on vacation abroad.
I think I saw it on the news, but why are there so many people here..? lol
Enter through South Gate 3, and you'll find Uiri Fish right away!
Since there were three of us, we ordered the medium-sized striped jack assorted sashimi platter.
It included striped jack, sea bream, salmon, and flounder.
No sea bass, but they said the flounder was good.
It wasn't like, super cheap or anything, but
I think the market price is about the same as Garak Market.
But apparently, they give you a lot here.
My expectations were high!
I took the escalator to the restaurant area on the second floor.
We went to Geumhak Restaurant. The table setting fee was 5,000 won.
But what was disappointing was that there were absolutely no side dishes,
just soybean paste and lettuce.
Here are some warm memories from the day.
The sashimi came out, and there was a lot! Fresh and sweet.
They also gave us seasoned sushi rice, and thankfully even pickled ginger!
But the restaurant was so busy that day, no one came even when we rang the bell...
Ah, the spicy fish stew... Anyone like eating the leftover sashimi as shabu-shabu in the stew? I love it! I regret not getting ramen noodles.
I took all these pills, but why was I so miserable?
My friend's husband bought them for me. Aww, that's so sweet! Thanks, brother-in-law!
I even went to a karaoke bar for the second round and drank "Morning Care" (hangover drink), but why do I feel so awful?
We had such a great time eating and playing, and I got home at 3 AM. Hmm.
If I ever drink again, I'm not human! (Guess I'll be a dog soon.)
But still, it was fun after a long time. Next time, I'll go to Noryangjin 101.
So, I'll end my dizzying visit to Noryangjin Fish Market here.
Thank you for reading! Bring back the remaining holidays! ⭐
