Exploring Seogwipo, Jeju: A Family-Friendly Tropical Fruit Farm Experience
During this trip to Jeju, I visited a tropical fruit farm with my nephews and family for a unique experience.
Our family enjoys experiential activities, so we decided to visit a recommended farm in Seogwipo.
We had a surprisingly enriching and enjoyable time.
Tropical Fruit Farm: Yujinpang
Location: 31-7, Wonnim-ro 399beon-gil, Namwon-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju
Operating Hours: Daily from 10 AM to 6 PM
1. A Variety of Tropical Fruits from Coconut to Banana
My nephews love fruits, so I thought it would be great to pick and eat fruits together during this trip.
The farm was filled with various tropical fruits, including coconuts.
2. Adorable Photo Spots
In addition to fruit picking, there were many photo spots with seasonal flowers, making it perfect for creating family memories.
3. Enjoying Unique Experiences
At the ticket booth, you can choose from various unique experiences to enjoy.
The staff provided detailed explanations about the programs, making it easy to choose.
Upon entering, we saw the hallabong farm, where the hallabong fruit was surprisingly large and firm.
The owner explained how to pick the hallabong, and it was great to touch and experience it firsthand.
The camellia flowers were in full bloom, and we learned that hydrangeas can be seen in the summer.
After passing through the camellia path, we found an animal area that kids love.
The children were thrilled to meet real animals.
There were many cute rabbits that did not fear humans and followed us around.
My youngest nephew was fascinated by the rabbits and played with them for a long time.
It was adorable to see them playing together without fear.
My older nephew even held a rabbit, which seemed very comfortable resting in his arms.
After the rabbit area, we could see donkeys, which looked quite different from horses.
They appeared round and cute.
We also got to see coconut palms, which intrigued the kids as they had never seen such plants before.
Although we couldn't see the fruits yet, there was also a durian tree, which was fascinating to learn that it grows in Jeju.
We had a delightful experience picking bananas, which was the most anticipated activity.
We could directly see the banana trees, and the fruits were abundant.
The owner guided us on how to harvest the bananas.
We could take home about three to six bananas per person, and I made sure to pick some.
Additionally, we saw various fruits like pineapples, cacao, and papayas, making for an exciting experience.
With a sense of accomplishment, we headed home with our harvested fruits.
The parking lot was spacious, so we didn’t have to worry about parking.
5. Overall Impression
If you're planning a family trip to Seogwipo, consider trying this natural experience.
It’s an eco-friendly experience unique to Jeju, which I believe is beneficial for children's emotional development.
I hope you enjoy a more colorful Jeju trip through this unique farm experience.
