Euljiro Hidden Gem: Sancheong Charcoal Garden - A Must-Visit KBBQ Spot

During the holiday, I wanted to have a date at Gwangjang Market, so we wandered around the neighborhood and ended up visiting Sancheong Charcoal Garden, a restaurant in Euljiro that I had heard about before.
This place is a popular Euljiro restaurant where waiting is absolutely essential.
I signed up for the waitlist at Branch 2, and my boyfriend signed up at the main branch. We put our names down around 5:30 PM and were finally seated at 7:32 PM.
I received number 148, and waited for 2 hours based on Branch 2.
The main branch still had about 30 people left even after 2 hours, so we gave up and just ate here.

Monday - Friday: 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 11:30 AM - 11:00 PM

It's also close to the subway station, and you know there are many bars around here, right?
It's located in a very good spot where you can grab dinner and immediately head to a second round of drinks.
You can use both Line 2 and Line 3, but Exit 9 of Line 3 is the closest.
Exterior
I was able to find it easily because there was a signboard in front of the building.
The entrance looks like this.
There's a duck restaurant on the first floor.
Other people were also mistaken, but you can go straight up to the second floor.
It seemed like there was relatively less waiting if you go early.

I went to eat the gochujang grill, so I didn't order the salt-grilled pork, so I couldn't eat the salt-grilled pork ใ ใ
But I found out there was an ordering tip:
Eat half a plate of salt-grilled pork first, and then order 2 servings of gochujang.

Side Dishes
Let me tell you in advance,
The side dishes are mainly for salt-grilled pork.
The overall seasoning is strong for eating with gochujang, so you should just eat the gochujang meat.
But it's still delicious, it just didn't satisfy the Korean's need for sauce lol
From dongchimi (radish water kimchi) to radish salad, cucumber kimchi, green onion salad,

I really liked the cucumber kimchi.
Since the gochujang is salty, it went better with the salad.
I took a bite of the sea snail braised in soy sauce, and it was a taste that called for water.
I wanted to order salt-grilled pork right away.
What I Ordered
I ordered a total of 3 servings: 2 servings of gochujang + 1 serving.
They also gave me mushrooms.
How about it? Isn't it beautiful?
The staff grilled the first batch, so I just had to receive it like a baby bird.
When it's fully cooked, they put it on a plate like this.
It goes really well with wasabi.

As expected of an Euljiro restaurant, a huge lid came out.
I watched it diligently.
It was so delicious because it was full of charcoal flavor.
My plate is getting dirtier and dirtier.
It was also delicious with green onion salad.
The slightly salty taste was caught by the dongchimi, so it went really well.
Cold noodles ordered to refresh my mouth.
It's one of the best cold noodles I've ever eaten.
It was so delicious and cool,
I picked up the bowl and drank the broth.
