YakiniKusungwoo

Recommended Korean Beef Restaurant in Chuncheon

Today, I want to introduce you to a fantastic place located in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon!

It's called 'YakiniKusungwoo'.

This restaurant specializes in top-grade 1++ no.9 Korean beef, making it a premium destination for beef lovers.

The atmosphere is elegant, and the service is excellent, making it highly recommended for special occasions, dates, or gatherings.

As a local resident of Chuncheon, I can confidently say that YakiniKusungwoo offers one of the finest Korean beef experiences I've had.

Now, let's dive into a detailed introduction!

Location and Parking Information

YakiniKusungwoo is situated in the food alley near Toegye Jugong Complex 1.

Parking is available in front of the restaurant or in the surrounding alleys.

The restaurant operates from 5:30 PM to 1:00 AM, and please note that it is closed every Sunday.

Interior Atmosphere

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a clean and stylish interior.

Since it has recently opened, the decor is pristine and luxurious.

It's a great choice for special occasions or important meetings, and the bar seating is also appealing for casual dates.

Today, I visited with my husband and child, and we were seated at a table for four.

High chairs for children are readily available, which is a must for families!

Menu Highlights

Now, let's talk about the most important part: ordering the menu!

Their signature dishes include sirloin, chuck flap, and shrimp meat.

As for appetizers, you can try beef tartare, tartare mixed noodles, and sea urchin.

After 8 PM, you can also order appetizers, which pair wonderfully with drinks.

We decided to order one serving each of shrimp meat and chuck flap, along with two servings of sirloin.

For side dishes, the beautifully presented banchan was impressive.

Each side dish was crafted with care and tasted excellent.

The sesame leaves and pickled onions complemented the meat perfectly.

And don't forget the free seaweed soup; make sure to enjoy that!

The shrimp meat is a special cut from the sirloin, known for its tender texture and rich flavor.

We grilled it quickly to keep the juices inside, resulting in a crispy exterior and juicy interior.

We both enjoy medium-rare, so we tried a piece when it was slightly pink inside.

The first bite with just salt was incredible; the flavor was delightful!

Next, we moved on to the chuck flap, known for its rich flavor and tenderness.

Finally, we enjoyed the sirloin grilled with a sweet and savory Japanese tare sauce, which was a perfect combination with rice.

YakiniKusungwoo is truly a gem for Korean beef lovers!

I highly recommend visiting before it becomes too popular!
