Discovering a Hidden Gem: Tra Ga near Yeouido

Recently, I discovered a new dining spot for company gatherings in Yeouido that I absolutely had to share.
We visited The Hyundai Mall on the weekend and found a restaurant called Tra Ga nearby. The reviews were great, and the food visuals looked delicious, so my husband and I decided to check it out.
Address: 16, Gukjegeumyung-ro 8-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Basement 1, Room B132
Business Hours: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM (Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM)
1. Location of Tra Ga
Although I was a bit worried about the Spanish cuisine, I soon learned that Tra Ga is quite popular for company gatherings in Yeouido. It's about a 5-minute walk from The Hyundai Mall, and since it's located right on the street, it was easy to find.
It's also only about a 5-minute walk from Yeouido Station, making it very accessible.
2. Interior Design
As soon as we entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was delightful. The European-inspired decor gave it an exotic feel, making it feel like we were in a Spanish alley.
There was even a wall screen playing videos of Spanish streets, which brought back fond memories from my travels and added to the ambiance.
3. Set Menu at Tra Ga
Since there were two of us, we ordered a two-person set to sample a variety of dishes. The set included a Jamón salad, Gambas Pil Pil, paella, and Iberico steak, all of which looked delicious.
The Jamón salad was the first dish served. The dressing is made in-house, and the sweet and tangy flavors were refreshing, making it a perfect appetizer.
Next, the Gambas Pil Pil arrived. The aroma of garlic wafted through the air, and the oil was rich without being overwhelming. The shrimp were plump and had a delightful texture.

The paella was fragrant with saffron and loaded with the umami flavor of seafood. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the seafood was fresh, showcasing why Tra Ga is famous in Yeouido.
The highlight was the Iberico steak, which was incredibly tender and juicy, almost reminiscent of beef. It paired well with grilled vegetables and pineapple, enhancing the overall flavor.
We also ordered sangria, which complemented the meal perfectly with its subtle fruitiness. The pricing was reasonable, making it a great value.
4. Overall Impression
The food was delicious, and the staff provided excellent service. They were friendly and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. I later learned they also sell meal kits for those who want to enjoy Spanish cuisine at home.
The spacious interior and ample seating make it a popular choice for gatherings. I highly recommend Tra Ga for those looking for a great dining experience near The Hyundai Mall in Yeouido.
