DESTUL, meaning 'chair' in German, offers a unique experience through the familiar medium of the chair.
The cafe aims to be a place where you can freely relax without the constraints of daily routines and share new perspectives.
I visited with my boyfriend on a rainy day, and the atmosphere was wonderful as we talked under the warm lighting while listening to the sound of rain outside the window!
Thanks to its quiet yet warm mood, I was able to enjoy a small respite from my daily life.
I would highly recommend this place as a sentimental date spot in Yeonhui-dong :)
Located in the alleyways of Yeonhui-dong, Destul Yeonhui is on the 2nd floor.
I was a bit confused at first, but there is a sign that says Destul in German.
Look for the blue door on the first floor and come on up!
Here is the menu for Destul Yeonhui cafe.
The desserts have models, so you can choose something that looks delicious.
Personally, I love cafes that show you models of the menu!
They also sell merchandise?!
The paper tape was quite cute.
Since it is an open kitchen, the subtle and savory aroma of coffee filled the cafe every time the owner brewed coffee.
As a coffee enthusiast, I think the best diffuser for a cafe is the scent of coffee beans haha
Each space had a different atmosphere to enjoy.
Doesn't the exposed ceiling with the trendy lighting, and the combination of warm-toned sofas and low tables go well together?
Overall, it had a minimalist yet emotional mood.
This is a pet-friendly cafe, and the space is large, so it would be great to bring a large dog.
I actually saw someone reading a book with a large dog!
There is also a dedicated space where you can freely work on personal tasks.
The glass-walled zone was great for dating hehe
It would be great to sit across from each other and chat.
The quiet valley feel unique to Yeonhui-dong outside the window made the atmosphere even better.
This is my boyfriend's perspective haha
The owner also drew the paintings himself, so it was fun to look at the artwork, and it was also fun to look for the interior details.
The Auf Matcha, a basic matcha coffee,
The flavors of matcha and coffee did not clash and were very harmonious.
It had the best balance of any matcha coffee I've ever had.
They also gave me the blending chart for the Iced Americano, so it felt even better to know what I was drinking.
The refreshing acidity and subtle sweetness were lingering.
It was a clean coffee with a fleeting fruity aroma.
The combination with the Fig Pound Cake, where you can chew on the fig pieces, is a must-try :)
On a rainy day, Destul Yeonhui, a sentimental Yeonhui-dong cafe where you can relax and chat under warm lighting, is a great place to enjoy coffee and relax in a free and minimalist atmosphere.
