Delicious Ribeye Experience at Cheonggyesan Galbisal near Gangnam-gu Office Station!
It was a weekend evening, and I suddenly had a massive craving for Korean BBQ!
I was searching for a good Korean BBQ place near Gangnam-gu Office Station and stumbled upon this gem.
It's called 'Cheonggyesan Galbisal'!
Honestly, at first, I thought it was a restaurant *on* Cheonggyesan Mountain based on the name, but nope! It wasn't.
The clean exterior and ample parking space were perfect!
You could feel the luxurious atmosphere from the entrance. ✨
The tables were also spaced far apart, making for a comfortable dining experience.
It was the perfect atmosphere for chatting with friends.
Looking at the menu, they had a variety of ribeye (galbisal) options.
After much deliberation, we ordered two servings of their special ribeye!
And as a side dish, we tried the *doenjang sulbab* (soybean paste rice soup).
The meat was truly…it melts in your mouth; that's not an exaggeration.
It was incredibly tender and bursting with juicy flavor. So delicious! ????
The complimentary side dishes that came with the meal were also incredibly generous!
Kimchi salad, regular salad, pickled vegetables, etc. There was a wide variety, and everything was delicious.
I even refilled the perilla leaf pickles.
The *doenjang sulbab* was a mix of rice and soybean paste stew, and the savory flavor was exceptional.
It was even more delicious when eaten with the meat!
The staff was also incredibly friendly.
They explained in detail how to grill the meat and immediately refilled any empty side dishes.
Thanks to them, I had a pleasant meal. ????
The *naengmyeon* (cold noodles) served as a dessert was also refreshing and clean.
The noodles were chewy, and the broth was perfectly seasoned.
