Delicious Dining at Uchujin in Jamsil Lotte Department Store

Hello, this is Yomi!
Today, I want to introduce a restaurant that took care of our last meal in Seoul: Uchujin, located in the Jamsil Lotte Department Store food court.
Uchujin is a must-visit lunch spot near Jamsil Station and Seokchon Lake.
Operating hours: Daily from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM.
Located on the basement level of Lotte Department Store, 240 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Uchujin has even appeared on the famous show "Master of Living"!
It was packed even on a weekday lunch, but the quick turnover means you won't wait long to get a seat.
The ramen comes with three types of meat toppings: pork belly, sous-vide chashu, and chicken breast. The combination of ramen and tonkatsu is simply delicious!
We ordered:
- Karai Tantanmen (basic) - 12,900 KRW
- King Tonkatsu - 13,900 KRW
- Spicy Chicken Leg - 3,800 KRW
- Zero Cider - 2,000 KRW
As a ramen restaurant, they offer a variety of crispy sides that pair perfectly with the noodles.
The ramen broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, and you can adjust the spiciness to your liking. It's also a convenient option for solo diners.
The king tonkatsu was visually stunning and tasted amazing, especially with the flavorful sauce. My friend couldn't stop raving about it!
It's surprising how I usually can't finish a king tonkatsu at other restaurants, but I devoured this one!
The tantanmen had a fantastic blend of pork bone and chicken broth, and the noodles absorbed the flavors beautifully.
We topped off our meal with Zero Cider and enjoyed some kimchi. The staff was friendly, and the food was exceptional, making it a place I would definitely revisit.
After shopping at Lotte Department Store, why not enjoy a delicious meal at Uchujin in the food court?
