On days 8 and 9, there was no change in weight, but as Professor Park Yong-woo advised, I experienced the importance of not obsessing over the scale.

In fact, it was a day when I confirmed an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in body fat!

✔ Weight Change

No change (maintenance)

→ I wasn't too worried, probably because my strength has increased.

✔ Day 8 Diet Record

Breakfast:

SwitchOn Protein Shake

Lunch | Visited Gongdeok Market for Grilled Fish:

Grilled Mackerel

Grilled Flatfish

Vegetable Side Dishes (I ate most of it)

Steamed Eggs (secured additional protein!)

The vegetables were a bit lacking, but the combination of fish and steamed eggs provided sufficient protein for the meal.

Protein-rich! A fish grilling combination that’s light even during a diet.

Snack:

SwitchOn Shake

Dinner:

Started fasting

The guide mentions fasting on day 10, but I remembered the advice to be flexible according to the situation, so I began fasting from dinner on day 8 until the snack time on day 9.

(I also had a health checkup on the morning of the 9th!)

I wasn't as hungry as I expected.

Day 9: Diet, Exercise, and Changes Record

✔ Weight Change

No change (maintenance)

✔ Day 9 Morning — Health Checkup at Gangbuk Samsung Hospital

The most surprising change was in my body composition!

The weight was almost the same as last year, but body fat decreased and muscle mass increased.

This combination is truly the BEST change.

I plan to compare the results with last year's records once I receive them.

It was the day I directly confirmed the effects of the SwitchOn diet through my body composition!

✔ Day 9 Exercise

On fasting days, the recommendation is to move more:

Climbed stairs on the way home

40 minutes of home workout (focused on strength training)

It was a day filled with proper strength stimulation.

✔ Day 9 Fasting Review

Visited the hair salon around lunchtime:

Received service from Yoo Iso, the deputy director at Park Seung-cheol Hair Studio, Mapo District.

She styled my hair exactly as shown in the picture and was very kind.

I went for a 50% discount event for first-time visitors... but even at 50%, the price was quite shocking.

I chose water for my welcome drink! Go me!!

Completed hydration naturally.

Interestingly, after 24 hours of fasting, I suddenly felt very hungry.

I could have had a snack, but I wanted to maintain my fast, so I skipped it and ended it with dinner.

✔ Day 9 Dinner

Chose Bossam (protein-focused menu):

Boiled Pork

Wrapped in Steamed Cabbage

Skipped Kimchi

Only tasted two bites of Buckwheat Noodles.

I was quite hungry, but once I started eating, I felt full surprisingly quickly, allowing me to adjust my meal portion calmly without bingeing.

Thanks to that, I wrapped up dinner lightly, and after eating, I felt much lighter!

It seems my body recognized the effects of fasting.

Instead of kimchi, I went lighter with steamed cabbage! Meal after 24 hours of fasting.

???? Overall Summary of Days 8-9: Why Do I Feel Lighter Even with No Weight Change?

No weight change → I believe it’s due to increased muscle mass.

Confirmed body fat reduction and muscle mass increase during the health checkup.

The fasting was easier than expected, and after the 'hunger timing' that comes after 24 hours, my body felt lighter.

The exercise on fasting day (strength + stairs) actually improved my condition.

And today, on the morning of day 10, I finally had a weight change!

(I will reveal this in the next record!)
