I recently visited Daon Katsu and wanted to share my experience. I'd been craving some good tonkatsu and stumbled upon this gem.
In a word: the tonkatsu is incredibly tender!
The interior is clean and quiet, with a wood and white color scheme. However, it's not very spacious, so I wouldn't recommend it for group gatherings. It can accommodate up to four people.
There are also tables inside. They even have seats perfect for dining alone.
We ordered the Premium Loin Katsu and the Loin Katsu. Basic side dishes include white kimchi, tonkatsu sauce, rice, and soup.
They also have a receipt review event where you can get a free drink.
This is the Premium Loin Katsu. It's big, super tender, and delicious dipped in the sauce.
This is the Loin Katsu. It's smaller than the Premium Loin Katsu. There's no porky smell, and the inside is moist and tender, making it really delicious. However, it can be a little greasy after a while, so you might crave kimchi. Luckily, a sip of the free drink from the review service will help cut through the richness!
