Craving Sundae Gopchang Bokkeum? Head to Chongdu Sundae in Wonju!

I recently revisited Chongdu Sundae in Wonju for some delicious sundae gopchang bokkeum (stir-fried blood sausage and intestines)!
Whenever I crave *yak gop* (stir-fried beef intestines), I always end up going to Chongdu Sundae.
Why? Because it's seriously amazing!
Chongdu Sundae is also known for their delicious *sundaeguk* (blood sausage soup) and gopchang jeongol (intestine hot pot), but honestly, everything on the menu is unbelievably good!

I rushed in and didn't get a good picture of the sign, sorry!
They're closed every Wednesday and open from 11 AM to 10 PM.
And they have a break time from 2 PM to 5 PM. On Sundays, they only operate until 3 PM, so please keep that in mind!

Chongdu Sundae's sundaeguk and *jeongol* are both delicious, but their sundae gopchang bokkeum is seriously the best!
When I visit with friends, we also order *modeum suyuk* (assorted boiled meat) and sundae bokkeum to enjoy together!
I ordered the sundae gopchang bokkeum!
If you want to add noodles or other *sari* to your sundae gopchang bokkeum, you need to add it when you order!
After ordering, your sundae gopchang bokkeum will arrive!
It's cooked in the kitchen, so just wait and it's all set!
If you don't want to wait, I recommend calling ahead to order!
Delivery and takeout are also available, so you can enjoy it comfortably at home!
Side dishes include kimchi, kkakdugi (radish kimchi), pickled onions, salted shrimp, and 4 pieces of *sundae* as a sample!
You can start your soju with the sample sundae!
And there's a self-service bar where you can refill side dishes and get extra *cho-jang* (vinegar-gochujang sauce), *dadaegi* (spicy seasoning), and *cheongyang* chili peppers!
I got some seasoning sauce and *cheongyang* chili peppers from the self-service bar!
And the sundae gopchang bokkeum looks so delicious!
The savory smell is amazing, and it's packed with vegetables, meat, intestines, and sundae, so it looks so delicious!
When you order sundae gopchang bokkeum, you might miss the soup!
But they provide sundaeguk broth separately, so you don't need to order soup separately!
The sundaeguk broth is not seasoned, so you can add *cheongyang* chili peppers and seasoning to your liking to make it spicy, and adjust the seasoning.
Make it a spicy soup and enjoy it in between bites!
I used to add a lot of perilla seed powder to *cho-jang* and dip the *sundae* in it, and it was delicious!
So ever since then, I always add a lot of perilla seed powder to *cho-jang* and dip it in!
But I like spicy food, so I add a lot of *cheongyang* chili pepper topping on top!
I might suffer the next day, but it's so delicious this way!

The rice was a little mushy, so I was almost disappointed, but when I tasted it, it was as expected!
It was savory and had a lot of seaweed flakes, so it was a delicious ending to the meal!
