Chongqing Eatery Hongdae: An All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot Review

Originally, we planned to go to Hai Di Lao, but the wait time was over 2 hours. Even after waiting while playing board games, there were still 100 teams ahead of us, so we gave up.
Instead, we went to Chongqing Eatery, an all-you-can-eat hot pot place.
But even at Chongqing Eatery, there was an 8-team wait, so we couldn't get in right away.
While waiting, we went to the claw machine and won 4 prizes! A proper dopamine rush!
Right after finishing with the claw machine, we got the call that we could enter!
There were three of us, so we ordered a 2-person set
(Dinner/Weekend All-You-Can-Eat Hot Pot for 2 + Mini Sweet and Sour Pork (꿔바로우) + Fresh Shrimp Balls + Soda or Chinese Drink) and added one person to it!
Since it's all-you-can-eat, you can eat everything you want! We brought beef, pork, and lamb, all sorts of meats.
We chose the clear broth and mala spicy broth for the soup base and put all the ingredients we brought in and waited... haha. We just threw everything in before it even boiled. It all tastes the same anyway!
I liked the clear broth better because it was more savory! And usually when I come to eat mala tang or hot pot, I eat more glass noodles than the wide flat noodles, but at Chongqing Eatery, the wide flat noodles were so delicious!!! I have a newfound appreciation for them!
Also, the potatoes were so delicious when cooked until soft and fluffy!
One slight disappointment was the meat..! The meat tasted good, but it felt like it was falling apart when I tried to eat it in the soup... but it still tasted good.
For the sauce, I made a Gunhee sauce!
※Caution※
If you use too many plates... the owner will scold you... haha.
They told us not to use too many..! But I didn't use that many..ㅠ
Sweet and Sour Pork (꿔바로우)~

The reason it looks a little empty is because some of it is already in my stomach, haha.
I didn't take a picture, but they also have ice cream! Vanilla & Chocolate
We enjoyed it as a dessert after the hot pot~

The total came out to ₩69,700 for three people,
and we brought a lot of our favorite ingredients with the all-you-can-eat option,
so we left feeling very full!
