I recently visited Bistromi, a family restaurant near Seoul Station that's perfect for group gatherings.

We had a group of 10 people meeting near Seoul Station, and it was surprisingly difficult to find a place that could accommodate us. Since everyone wasn't in the mood for Korean food, we looked into Western and Chinese options. However, it was rare to find a place with delicious-looking food and a private room for a large group. After searching diligently, I stumbled upon Bistromi Seoul Station, which I'll be reviewing today. Let's get started with my review of Bistromi near Seoul Station!

Exterior, Location, and Parking

Bistromi is located on the basement floor of Seoul City Tower.

It's easily accessible from Seoul Station Line 4, Exit 10. Take the escalator up and enter the revolving door next to Paris Baguette, and you'll see the restaurant right away.

Parking is available in the building's underground parking lot, so you don't have to worry about parking if you're driving.

However, I slightly regretted driving because Seoul Station is always congested. Next time, I'll definitely take public transportation.

Interior

Here's a look inside Bistromi Seoul Station, a great place for group meetings.

To be honest, my first impression was that it felt a bit old-fashioned. But the more I looked around, the more it reminded me of the family restaurants I used to go to with my parents when I was younger, which was a pleasant surprise.

The interior is very spacious, and there's a separate private room, making it ideal for family gatherings or group events near Seoul Station.

Since we had a large group, we made a reservation in advance.

Even though we arrived a little early, the table was already set.

It was convenient to have a separate room that could accommodate more than 10 people. The long table made it easy to talk to each other, and we didn't have to worry about being disturbed by other customers.

Menu and Prices

They offer a variety of options, from pizza, pasta, and risotto to steak, desserts, drinks, and alcohol. They also have set menus for 2 or 4 people, making it easy to order according to your group size. We ordered the Family Set B, which is a 4-person set menu.

Bread

This is the appetizer bread at Bistromi Seoul Station.

The portion size is quite generous for appetizer bread. It was delicious when eaten warm – fluffy and savory.

I usually try not to eat too much appetizer bread because I'm afraid of getting full, but it's always so delicious that I end up eating it all and regretting it afterwards haha.

Everyone kept telling me to stop eating, but they couldn't resist either.

Chopped Steak Salad

This is the chopped steak salad at Bistromi Seoul Station.

The vegetables were fresh, and the dressing was perfectly balanced, making it a tasty and light start to the meal.

Porcini Mushroom Risotto

This is the Porcini Mushroom Risotto at Bistromi, perfect for group gatherings.

To be honest, it wasn't really my taste. It tasted savory at first, but it became a bit too rich as I ate more.

The creamy flavor was strong, so those who don't like rich foods might not be able to eat much of it, like me. But the mushroom flavor was intense and savory, so it was still good. I think this creamy risotto is a matter of personal preference.

Aglio e Olio

This is the Aglio e Olio at Bistromi, perfect for group gatherings.

The Aglio e Olio was exactly as expected. The oil wasn't overpowering, and the garlic and clam flavors were well-balanced. It was exactly what you would expect from a classic oil-based pasta, so I was satisfied.

I didn't take a picture, but we also ordered the Margherita pizza. The balance between the tomato sauce and cheese was quite good, and it wasn't too strong, so everyone enjoyed it.

Double Steak

This is the Double Steak at Bistromi, perfect for group gatherings. We requested it to be cooked medium-rare.

The Double Steak was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and juicy, and even though everyone was full, we finished it all.

The cooking temperature was exactly as we requested, and the sauce enhanced the flavor of the meat perfectly. I personally think this was the best dish of the day.

So far, this has been my honest review of Bistromi Seoul Station, a great place for group gatherings.

Overall, it seems that all the menu items are generally well-received. It's the kind of "classic taste" that everyone can enjoy. It's not too unique or strong, making it perfect for group meals. The private room makes it even better haha.
