This poke restaurant operates 24 hours a day and is quite busy with delivery orders, as evidenced by the many delivery motorcycles parked outside.
It's conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Yeoksam Station, and the large storefront makes it easy to find.
Balance Poke is a great option for office workers in the Yeoksam area!
As soon as you enter, you'll see the ordering area. You can pay directly there, or you can use the tablet available at each table to place your order.
As expected from a poke restaurant, the menu is diverse. They offer Salmon, Tuna, Beef Brisket (Chadol), and Tofu Poke bowls. You can also get soup and juice sets to complete your meal.
Besides poke, they also have Hawaiian Chili Shrimp, Tuna Steak, Salmon Buckwheat Noodles, and Chicken Wraps.
The interior is decorated with green accents, giving it a fresh and vibrant atmosphere.
While waiting for my order, I noticed a constant stream of delivery drivers coming and going. It's clear that Balance Poke is a popular delivery option in the Yeoksam area.
They offer both cold water and warm strawberry tea.
After much deliberation, I ordered the Salmon Poke and the Black Sesame Soup.
The Salmon Poke had a generous amount of diced salmon on top.
The vegetables were all fresh, and the crispy fried onions, crunchy sea vegetable (tot), and crisp vegetables provided a delightful texture when mixed together.
The addition of flying fish roe (tobiko) added an extra pop to each bite!
I've tried poke from many places, but this was surprisingly delicious. I'm definitely considering ordering delivery next time.
The poke comes with a side of pickled jalapenos and onions, as well as plum tomatoes for a refreshing finish.
I don't usually like jalapenos, but the pickled onions were so delicious that I ate them all. The plum tomatoes were the perfect way to end the meal.
The black sesame soup, a special menu item at Balance Poke, was excellent!
I highly recommend ordering it as a set with your poke bowl. The nutty and sweet black sesame soup was incredibly delicious.
The soup also contained small glutinous rice balls, which made it even more enjoyable.
