On a chilly day, craving a warm bowl of pho, I decided to visit after seeing a review on Naver that said, "A local Vietnamese friend recommended this restaurant!"
As soon as I arrived, I noticed that almost everyone there was Vietnamese!
That made me trust that this place was truly authentic.
The interior of the restaurant also had a very local feel.
Here's the menu!
The picture quality isn't the best, but...
It took me a while to decide because I wanted to try everything.
I finally decided on:
- Pho with Smoky Flavor
- Fried Spring Roll Rice Paper Wraps (Cha gio)
- Seafood Fried Noodles
The food took about 10 minutes to come out.
Pho with Smoky Flavor (12,000 KRW)
Even though I usually can't eat cilantro, as a pho lover,
From the first bite, I thought, "Oh? This place is pretty good!"
The broth was rich and flavorful, with little bits of garlic (not spicy).
As a garlic lover,
I thought, "Ah, this is my style."
The beef was tender and melted in my mouth.
The smoky flavor was a little subtle, but that didn't matter.
Because I had already finished the broth.
Adding the bean sprouts that come with it makes it nice and crunchy.
Seafood Fried Noodles (12,000 KRW)
The seafood fried noodles had a subtle, yet strong peanut sauce flavor, and weren't spicy.
It wasn't bad... but I was expecting a spicy seafood fried noodle!
So, if you're expecting spice, you might be a little disappointed!
But if you like the combination of peanuts and seafood, this will definitely be a hit.

Fried Spring Roll Rice Paper Wraps (Cha gio) (11,000 KRW)
The pickled radish and pickled onions are served as side dishes.
The spring rolls were crispy, the sound made me happy as soon as I took a bite.
The peanut sauce was nutty, and the fish sauce was tangy and salty.
I was busy dipping them in both!
I always like fresh spring rolls, with meat shrimp and vegetables.

Close-up shots!
You don't have to travel far to travel,
Because Vietnam is right here in this bowl.
If you come to Myeongdong, try it out!
I recommend it!
