Authentic Korean BBQ Experience Near Guui Station: Buksaetong
Buksaetong is a fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant near Guui Station, especially known for its incredibly delicious fresh ribs (saeng-galbi).
Location: A 5-minute walk from Guui Station, Exit 4.

The exterior of the restaurant is unassuming, but they open the doors next to the entrance, creating a refreshing outdoor dining atmosphere.
The menu offers a variety of options, from fresh ribs (saeng-galbi) and marinated beef ribs (so-galbi) to pork belly (samgyeopsal), pork shoulder (moksal), and pork jowl (hangjeongsal). We ordered the Half & Half set. 600g for 52,000 won? That's an incredibly reasonable price!
Another great thing about this restaurant is that you can enjoy complimentary ramen after your meal.
The side dishes are plentiful and diverse, including various vegetables, seasoned green onion salad (pajeol-i), and aged kimchi. Sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew) is also served as a complimentary side.
The spicy and savory sundubu-jjigae was the perfect accompaniment to our drinks, and all the other side dishes were delicious as well.

The meat looked high-quality from the start, and the portions were perfect with two strips of each type.
Both the fresh ribs and marinated ribs were so delicious that we were blown away.
Serving thinly sliced meat and garlic in a small pan was a brilliant idea. Cooking the garlic in scallion infused oil was amazing, and after cooking the garlic, the remaining oil can be used to grill kimchi for an extra burst of flavor.
After you finish your meal, you can order ramen, and they will remove the grill and place the ramen on the burner.
Remember, the ramen is free! It's a perfect way to cleanse your palate after a hearty meal.
I enjoyed a glass of soju with fresh ribs at Buksaetong.
Sitting by the window, we enjoyed the open atmosphere and the cool breeze while savoring the delicious fresh ribs. The drinks went down smoothly!
Personally, I preferred the fresh ribs.
