After filling up on Yakiniku during our last neighborhood outing, we shouted, "Today's concept is Osaka!" and made our way through a course that included a skewer (Kushi) restaurant we both had wanted to visit!

If you haven't seen my Yakiniku post, I recommend you check it out! 😉

My partner usually doesn't save restaurants on Naver (Korean search engine), but they actually saved this place after getting a recommendation!

I had also seen it often on Instagram Reels recently, so I was thrilled to finally go.

The moment you open the door, you're hit with an unfamiliar scent – is this really Sindang-dong?

There were both table and counter seats, and we sat comfortably at the counter since we were only planning on having a light meal.

Even the decorations hanging on the wall gave off such a strong Japanese vibe, it felt like we were on vacation and it made me feel good!

They seemed to have a wide selection of drinks that pair well with skewers, like sake and highballs!

I heard their green onion skewers (Negi Kushi) are amazing, and (since we were already a little full) we ordered just a few that caught our eye, including the Negima (chicken and green onion skewer). haha

Pickled tomatoes and cabbage salad are a must, right? It's no secret that I ordered extra pickled tomatoes because they were so good.

The staff grills the skewers right in front of you, and the ventilation system is so effective that there's no smoke or smell! The atmosphere is really pleasant, which is a huge plus.

감동적인 장면

Deliciously grilling skewers~

Heart (Yeomtong) was also one of the recommended items, so we shared one.

The highball was a little too strong for my taste, but it definitely pairs well with skewers!

행복한 시간

I think this was pork neck skewer, is that right? I personally love pork neck when I eat chicken, so I was a little sad that there wasn't enough, but eating it as a skewer was so satisfying.

Chicken wings and...what's that in the middle? And my beloved ginkgo nut skewers!

멋진 사진

This one was...chicken cartilage, maybe? lol I took a picture of the menu, but I can't remember..

And finally, the highly anticipated chicken and green onion skewer, Negima!

매력적인 사진

I think they grilled the skewers in the perfect order for enjoying them, the combination was amazing!

I want to go back just to eat the Negima! It was as delicious as everyone said it would be - the perfect skewer ending.

감동적인 장면

The skewers overall were seasoned perfectly, not too salty, and grilled just right. Everything was so delicious. I don't go out for drinks often, but this is a great place to go when I'm in the mood for this kind of atmosphere.

Saved to my Sindang 맛집 (delicious restaurant) list!!

희망찬 내일

Oh, I don't usually write bathroom reviews, but Uraya's bathroom is small and unisex, which isn't great. But the Japanese radio that's constantly playing makes you understand everything, haha. Their sense of making even the bathroom feel like Japan is amazing.
