All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ Delight: My Favorite Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi in Pyeongnae-Hopyeong
If you're a meat lover, you've probably heard of Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi! There's a branch near my home in Pyeongnae-Hopyeong, and we often visit as a family for dinner, especially on weekends.
It's always bustling with a wait on weekends due to its popularity. This time, we went on a weekday evening, and the atmosphere was definitely different. We could relax and enjoy our BBQ!
The restaurant offers parking space for about 4-5 cars in front.
The interior is spacious and can accommodate large groups, making it perfect for family outings, gatherings with parents, company dinners, or get-togethers with friends. We visit more often because it's close to home. Keep in mind that it’s more relaxed on weekdays, while weekends can be crowded with potential waits.
The biggest advantage of Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi is the unlimited meat, right?
They offer a wide variety of options, from their signature charcoal-grilled marinated pork ribs (galbi) to fresh first steak, chicken ribs, pork skin, and thick-cut pork belly (samgyeopsal).
Being able to enjoy so many different meat options in one place is perfect for meat enthusiasts! (ˊo̴̶̷̤ ̫ o̴̶̷̤ˋ)♡
Recently, they've added charcoal-grilled eel to the menu, giving you even more to choose from.
The savory and sweet eel grilled over charcoal is a flavor everyone, from children to adults, will enjoy.
You can even enjoy it as an eel rice bowl, making it a filling meal!
It's not just meat; they also have a salad bar that everyone can enjoy.
The salad bar offers a good selection of salads, side dishes, fried foods, and soup.
Eating a lot of meat can sometimes feel heavy, but the salad bar items help refresh your palate in between bites! LOL
They even added a refreshing seaweed cold soup that wasn't there on our last visit!
Our family's top pick is definitely the charcoal-grilled pork ribs!
Before the meat is cooked, we grab some snacks from the salad bar to wet our whistles! Hehe
We wrap the well-cooked meat in lettuce wraps and enjoy it with scallion salad.
And we can't forget the sweet eel!
The eel sauce and ginger are a perfect combination...
Grilling pork skin can cause a bit of a flare-up, so be sure to use the water spray provided at each table to tame the flames! LOL
Dipping the perfectly grilled pork skin in bean powder is the... final stage of the meat course.
My husband, who loves ramen, always goes for the build-your-own instant ramen!
One of the biggest perks is being able to freely use the instant ramen station to make your own ramen. It really makes you feel satisfied at the end of the meal! LOL
