It had been a while since I visited Mangwon with my 'Geomgye' friends (friends who share similar tastes). It was also my first trip to Mapo-gu since graduation. Our destination, nestled near Mangwon Market, was Full Fermentation Kitchen! Whenever I meet up with these friends, we always end up at healthy food restaurants. And every time, I encounter dishes that shatter my preconceived notions of what 'healthy food' tastes like – they're always surprisingly delicious.

So, let's dive right into my honest review of Full Fermentation Kitchen!

Operating Hours: 11:00 - 20:00

Break Time: 15:00 - 17:00

This is the sign outside. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor, accessible by stairs!

Space

Once you go up to the 2nd floor, there's a space to take off your shoes and change into slippers.

Open this door and...

Tada! You'll find a cozy and welcoming restaurant.

The kitchen is open, so you can watch the staff preparing the food.

Isn't the restaurant atmosphere fresh and warm? It's totally my style! heh heh

There was also a large, fluffy focaccia on display.

And the highlight – a kitty! A cat was sitting on the floor, claiming its territory, and it was so cute! Later, it even came to our table, waiting for us to pat its bum!

Food

The focaccia we saw at the entrance was served as an appetizer! They gave it with honey.

They also served tea in a pretty teacup, but I don't remember what kind of tea it was...ㅠㅠ

We ordered the Soy Milk Noodle Soup and Buckwheat Noodles.

Jeju Soy Milk Noodle Soup: ₩15,000

Jeju Wild Vegetable Buckwheat Noodles: ₩16,000

Honestly, the Soy Milk Noodle Soup was a bit too sweet for my taste. I actually preferred the Buckwheat Noodles that my friend ordered. It had a savory and non-irritating taste!

I want to try the other menu items, so I definitely want to visit this restaurant again if I get the chance. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a healthy, delicious, and atmospheric restaurant!
