A Taste of Jeju: Exquisite Sukiyaki at Notamenosukiyakki near Jeju Airport

Our Chuseok holiday led us back to Tapdong!
There's no better place for kids to run around than Tapdong.
With events like the illuminated Mokgwana Night Opening Media Art and the Tamra Culture Festival's Sanjicheon Festival, there are many autumn events happening right now.
Except for Dad, who's on the mainland~
We headed to Notamenosukiyakki in the old downtown for dinner in a great atmosphere.
This must be the entrance!
The atmosphere was amazing.
A bar table with a great ambiance.
We took our pre-booked seats.
Sensory objects added to the aesthetic.
They have high chairs for babies.
First, they served Hovenia dulcis tea.
Served in Hallasan and Baekrokdam glasses.
I thought my child wouldn't drink it because it was herbal tea, but it was savory, and he kept asking for more.
The sukiyaki hot pot was neatly presented.
Sukiyaki with 5 years of expertise, both domestically and internationally.
Notamenosukiyakki's secret sauce, crafted with 17 ingredients.
They pour the broth from a thermos, just enough to slightly cover the ingredients.
They use 'Nanjukmatdon' (delicious pork created by the National Livestock Research Institute), a Jeju black pork-like breed.
Sizzling, sizzling.
They cook it for you at the table, making it easy to eat.
A clean and simple table setting.
Rice + young radish kimchi + pickled radish + vegetable set + meat.
The rice was sticky and delicious.
It was so good you could eat ten bowls!
They use native and local ingredients unique to Jeju (Jeju native black pork, Jeju free-range eggs, Jeju shiitake mushrooms, Jeju matcha, etc.).
Jeju native chicken eggs, raised on the Gueom farm, are set up!
Gueom chicken eggs are free-range, raised with minimal stress inside the barn.
They use Jeju-produced fermented feed such as mugwort, pine needles, and fish sauce.
They say the hens lay eggs with rich nutritional management.
Native eggs have larger yolks and a richer flavor compared to regular eggs, with less fishy taste, making them perfect for sukiyaki.
Dipping it in the free-range egg.
I usually don't like raw or soft-boiled eggs, but dipping the sukiyaki in it was so delicious and didn't taste fishy at all!
The savory flavor went really well together.
Tofu, meat, mushrooms, and vegetables: a healthy meal.
Vegetables can also be refilled.
You can choose your favorite vegetables and refill a whole plate.
Fried tofu pouches with chewy Kiri mochi inside.
Braised well in the sweet sukiyaki broth.
Totally a special dish!
They also add udon noodles at the end.
The udon noodles are sizzled on a stone plate.
They ask, "How much would you like?"
I was already full, so I asked for just a little!
Originally, they sprinkle a lot of shichimi pepper on top and stir-fry it for a spicy flavor, but they served it separately since we were eating with a child.
Matcha ice cream for dessert!
The unique slightly bitter taste of matcha and the creamy texture of the ice cream blended well and were delicious.
My mouth felt refreshed!
