A Taste of Cheonggiwa Town: Lunch at Mapo Branch

Well... everything here is self-funded, so this certification feels a bit new to me!
Anyway, this is Cheonggiwa Town, Mapo branch, which I visit occasionally.
They offer a Happy Lunch menu during weekdays.
The side dishes served at Cheonggiwa Town are generally delicious.
Among them, the potato/mayo salad with mayonnaise is particularly satisfying and affordable.
It’s very savory and tasty, and I found out it contains breadcrumbs... that explains it. It’s delicious and filling.
In addition, there are plenty of other dishes that pair well with meat.
People really come to Cheonggiwa for the taste, haha.
We made a reservation through Naver and ordered the lunch menu with short ribs.
Ah, my precious meat,
I carefully grilled it to avoid burning.
I couldn’t wait, so I also asked for cold noodles to be served when the meat came out.
I ate it without much thought, but the cold noodles were good too.
Personally, I like the retro vibe of this Cheonggiwa color.
It feels like the 80s and 90s, reminiscent of a time before the internet.
Drumroll... the total bill was 62,000 won.
(Oh dear, the prices... should I start keeping a budget again?)
Cheonggiwa has a retro design, but the prices are cutting-edge.
62,000 won for two people, sigh.
They say the Happy Lunch set is affordable!
Still, I paid with a digital gift certificate,
so I technically enjoyed it for a discounted price, right?
(But it’s still 55,800 won! It feels even more expensive!)
Anyway, that’s how it went.
We finished everything neatly without leaving any leftovers.
The taste was great, haha.
