This review is my personal experience at 'Seogi', a restaurant I paid for myself.

Chuncheon Restaurant

Seogi

Recommended Pub in Unkyodong, Chuncheon

Today, I would like to introduce a new Korean restaurant located in Unkyodong, Chuncheon!

It's called 'Seogi'.

This place recently opened and is a hot spot for delicious dishes and a variety of drinks.

It is situated in the old Unkyodong police station building, featuring a retro interior that has gained popularity.

Especially, with private rooms available on the first and second floors, it creates a cozy atmosphere for gatherings.

Now, let's dive into the details of my visit.

The restaurant is located at 123 Geumgang-ro, Chuncheon, on the 1st and 2nd floors.

Operating hours are from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, and until 2:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

It is closed every Sunday.

Today, I visited 'Seogi', which is a cooking pub in Unkyodong, Chuncheon.

The building is a charming white two-story structure that used to be the old police station.

The retro atmosphere is palpable from the exterior, setting a nostalgic vibe.

As there is no dedicated parking space, it's best to visit on foot or use nearby street parking.

We made a reservation for a private room on the second floor through Naver and arrived right on time.

The first floor has a cozy setup with about four tables, and the retro decor adds to the ambiance.

On the second floor, there are three rooms, and we were in the largest one, accommodating around 11 people.

The atmosphere in both floors was delightful, bursting with retro charm.

Now, let's talk about the menu!

We ordered a variety of dishes to cater to everyone's taste.

Some of the signature dishes we tried included the 'Suyuk' (boiled pork), 'Nokjin' (rich plate), and handmade udon.

The first dish to arrive was the Suyuk, known for its tender meat and rich flavor.

It was served with seasoned chives, making it absolutely delicious.

Next, we had the 'Nokjin' dish, featuring a delightful combination of sea urchin, sweet shrimp, and creamy avocado.

Wrapping it in seaweed and dipping it in soy sauce made for a melt-in-your-mouth experience.

We also enjoyed the 'Chamdara' plate, which was equally popular among our group.

The 'Buchae-sal' beef was tender and flavorful, perfect for meat lovers.

One of my favorites was the 'Udon with fern', which had a rich and creamy taste that was simply irresistible.

The spicy beef soup was another highlight, with a broth that was addictive and comforting.

Lastly, we tried the egg sushi wrapped in pickled radish, which had a delightful sweet and sour flavor.

'Seogi' is a cozy new pub in Chuncheon that offers delicious dishes and a relaxing atmosphere.

I loved it so much that I plan to visit again soon!

The end.
