A Refreshing Seafood Feast: Rainbow Mulhoe at Eobu Shinkwangho, Yeongjong Island

Just when I was starting to feel worn down by the everyday reality of raising children, a welcome holiday arrived!
I whined to my husband that I wanted to see the sea.
So, we headed off to Yeongjong Island, which is nearby!
The hot weather made me crave Mulhoe (Korean spicy raw fish soup), so we decided to try it!
I've recently been having fun asking ChatGPT for restaurant recommendations. When I ask it about a dish I want to eat and the location, it compares and analyzes Instagram, blog posts, and Naver reviews and tells me the best options! It's a very useful friend that saves me time.
I wanted both Kal-guksu (noodle soup) and Mulhoe, so I picked this place. But once I arrived and looked at the menu, I knew I had to try their Mulhoe.
It's a chain restaurant, and this location seemed to be one of the newest!

I was debating whether to order one serving of Eobu Mulhoe and one serving of seafood Kal-guksu... but the Rainbow Mulhoe looked too amazing to pass up.

I usually nibble on the side dishes when they first come out, but I was so excited about the Mulhoe that I didn't even touch them! Haha.

A colorful mix of various seafood and even tomatoes and kiwi... it's a bit of an unfamiliar visual, right?
They asked if we'd ever tried it before and proceeded to mix it all up for us.
I think we would have spilled a lot if we had done it ourselves, but they mixed it perfectly!
We ordered a small size, but it was definitely not a small portion.
We've been on a bit of a diet lately... so our stomachs have shrunk a bit, haha.
But we were determined to eat it all!
It even had my favorite sea cucumber and sea pineapple, so it was fun to pick and choose! ❤️
My husband diligently mixed the noodles and gave them to me first. Such a selectively sweet guy! ❤️ㅋㅋㅋ

Perhaps it's because of the fruit, but it was perfectly sweet and sour, and just the right amount of spicy. It was so delicious.
It's not exactly cheap, so I was really hoping it would be good.
But it was such a satisfying meal!
