On a crisp autumn day, I met up with a friend in Gangnam after a long time. We were deciding where to go when I remembered a Seolleung station sirloin restaurant, Dodam, that I had been eyeing for a while. We were promptly guided to a private room due to our reservation, and the quiet, intimate space was perfect for enjoying a meal with my friend. It was immediately clear why this place is optimized for important gatherings or company dinners.

Seolleung Dodam uses only the highest grade of Korean Hanwoo (Korean beef) 1++, with a marbling score of 9. We ordered the short rib and sirloin, known for their rich marbling and juicy texture. The visual appeal of the meat, so fresh and high-quality, immediately impressed us. The savory aroma that filled the air as the meat hit the charcoal grill further stimulated our appetites.

Each carefully grilled piece was a delight, with rich juices and a tender texture that melted in our mouths. The expression 'melts in your mouth' was perfectly fitting. The Maldon salt, which enhances the natural flavor of the meat, the savory handmade pollack roe with seeds, and the spicy Cheongyang chili sauce all elevated the taste. Each sauce brought out a different flavor profile, allowing us to enjoy a variety of tastes.

I was also very excited as I learned that you can also enjoy Jeju Black pork and Sancheong Black Pork Jiri Mountain. It is said that premium black pork, which has been aged in ice for over 369 hours and wet-aged for over 720 hours, offers a special taste in itself. We decided to try the most popular cuts: pork belly and pork skirt meat.

What was truly amazing was that there was absolutely no unpleasant odor characteristic of black pork; instead, there was a deep, rich flavor. The chewy yet tender texture made us feel like we were eating the highest quality pork. In particular, the 1% premium skirt meat released savory juices with every bite, which caused admiration. When wrapped in lettuce with the barley ssamjang (Korean dipping sauce) that was served on the side, the harmony of Korean flavor and the luxurious taste of black pork was perfect.

Among the most representative dinner menus, <Dodam Set> and <Udon Set>, we chose the <Udon Set> where we could enjoy both. This set menu boasts Seolleung Dodam's pride, consisting of top-quality Hanwoo short rib and sirloin, as well as black pork belly and skirt meat that has been wet-aged for over 720 hours.

The most attractive point was that you could enjoy Hanwoo and black pork at once. It was fun to compare and taste two types of meat with different charms. In particular, the <Udon Set> could be said to be Seolleung Dodam's best value menu. We were able to feel a richer taste when eaten with fresh vegetable leaves, and thanks to the generous amount, my friend and I were able to finish our meal full.

Another appealing aspect of Seolleung Dodam was its comfortable yet sophisticated space. The availability of private rooms, which allowed us to enjoy our meal quietly and intimately, was really great. Thanks to this, I was able to meet my friend after a long time and have deep conversations to relieve the backlog. In addition, the carefully crafted interior design throughout the store added a luxurious atmosphere, making it a great place to visit on a special day.

The service provided by the friendly staff was also impressive. They grilled the meat to the perfect degree and meticulously took care of our needs, allowing us to focus on our meal in comfort. What was most surprising was that it is open 24 hours. The fact that you can enjoy delicious meat anytime from early morning to late at night is a really big advantage. (Of course, there is a break time, so please keep that in mind!)

The dining experience at Seolleung Dodam exceeded all expectations. From the fresh, high-quality meat to the excellent atmosphere and service, everything was perfect. In particular, the fact that you can enjoy Hanwoo and black pork at the same time makes this place special. I could feel the sincerity in each sauce that was served, and all of the side dishes that came out were clean and delicious.

It was a precious experience to taste various cuts of meat and feel their respective charms. I was really happy to be able to fill my stomach with delicious food and have a good time with my friend. If I have the chance to come near Seolleung again, I will not hesitate to visit Seolleung Dodam again.

I can confidently say that Seolleung Dodam, which I introduced today, is a sirloin restaurant near Seolleung Station that is second to none. I was satisfied in every aspect, from the fact that you can taste the highest grade of Hanwoo and aged black pork at a reasonable price, to the luxurious and comfortable atmosphere.

In particular, if you want to commemorate a special day with a loved one or are looking for a formal dinner location, I highly recommend Seolleung Dodam. It will provide a satisfying taste and atmosphere for anyone you visit with, be it friends, lovers, or family. I myself wanted to visit again next time and try other cuts of meat.
