Last weekend, while traveling in Jeju Island, I stumbled upon a fantastic Korean restaurant.

It's called 'Aewol Ongi,' located in Aewol-eup, Jeju City. At first, I thought it was just another ordinary restaurant.

But the moment I stepped inside, I felt a sense of comfort and warmth. ✨

The soft lighting and cozy interior blended beautifully with the charm of Jeju, giving me the feeling that this place was special.

Looking at the menu, it was filled with various local Jeju dishes like hairtail rice in a stone pot (galchi sotbap), abalone rice in a stone pot (jeonbok sotbap), abalone porridge (jeonbokjuk), and spicy raw abalone soup (jeonbok mulhoe)!

After much deliberation, I ordered the Jeju's representative dish, hairtail rice in a stone pot, and my friend ordered the abalone rice in a stone pot.

And we added grilled abalone too! ✨

After a short wait, the long-awaited hairtail rice in a stone pot finally arrived!

Large pieces of hairtail were generously placed on top of the rice, and the hot, savory aroma of the stone pot rice stimulated my appetite.

The hairtail was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. ✨

It was perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, making it incredibly delicious, and eating it with the rice made the flavor even richer.

My friend's abalone rice in a stone pot was also excellent. The chewy texture of the abalone and the fluffy texture of the rice were a fantastic combination.

밝은 미래

The grilled abalone was so fresh that you could taste it.

I was completely captivated by the chewy texture and savory taste of the abalone.

I would want to eat it again if I go to Jeju Island! ✨

And the owner's kindness was really impressive.

From ordering to serving food and calculating the bill, they were friendly and kind throughout the entire process, and I had a great time sharing stories about Jeju.

Aewol Ongi's hairtail dishes are so amazing that it can be called a Jeju hairtail restaurant. I think it's the best among Jeju Korean restaurants.

The interior of the restaurant was decorated with cute little props, making it a great place to take pictures, and it was a place where you could enjoy a meal while looking at the beautiful scenery of Jeju.

신비로운 모습

It tasted even better while sitting by the window and looking at the outside scenery. ✨

If you're looking for a great restaurant in Jeju, I highly recommend Aewol Ongi. You can make unforgettable memories during your trip to Jeju Island.

It's a place I want to visit again if I go to Jeju Island. It was really delicious!

Next time, I want to try abalone porridge or spicy raw abalone soup. ✨

따뜻한 추억

It was a place where you could truly taste Jeju in a clean and comfortable atmosphere.

If you have a trip to Jeju Island planned, be sure to visit!

You won't regret it. ✨

I completely fell in love with Aewol Ongi's hairtail rice in a stone pot and grilled abalone.

It's a place I definitely want to visit again if I visit Jeju.

The friendly owner and beautiful scenery added up to a perfect dining experience.
