A Foodie Adventure in Euljiro with Jun

About a week ago, I went on a culinary adventure in Euljiro with Jun.
Here's a long overdue post about our foodie trip to Euljiro! Let's go!!
First stop: Uchuujin Ramen.
This ramen place in Euljiro is known for its delicious ramen.
Here are some of their signature dishes.
The restaurant has a long table where everyone sits around it.
It's a good atmosphere for dining alone.
But...
Since you're sitting face-to-face with strangers, it might be a little awkward for those who are shy.
But the ramen is so delicious, it's worth it!!
The deep, savory, and rich ramen broth
makes you want to keep taking spoonful after spoonful,
and I ended up finishing the entire bowl!
We also had gyoza.
These are so good!
Juicy goodness oozes out from the inside,
and both the filling and the wrapper are amazing!!!
I wanted Jun to try the Bbau Donuts!
I chose the cheese donut, and Jun went with the original! :)
The donuts aren't overly greasy,
and they'll even sprinkle less sugar or none at all if you want.
We had some time before heading over to Euljiro Food Street.
So we charged up on caffeine at Horangi Cafe while chatting!
After the cafe, we headed to 'Euljiro Silbi Bar Pado' to wait in line!
5:31 PM: We joined the waiting list on the Silbi Bar Pado app!
Looks like there were already quite a few teams ahead of us.
As always, the wait is tough....;ㅅ;
We grabbed drinks at a nearby cafe to quench our thirst.
Finally, we got into Silbi Bar!!!!
It's a shame that they only operate on weekdays now,
so you have to take a half-day off on Friday to go...
But it's so delicious, and the atmosphere is amazing~ㅠㅠ
Today's menu:
Plump, fresh raw shrimp and steamed shrimp heads!
The meat is chewy and flavorful! ????????
And this is the menu item I came for!!
Gizzard Shad (Jeon-eo) Sashimi!!!! Yay!! ????
The gizzard shad sashimi was chewy and savory, and the soju went down smoothly.
This is what healing looks like-????
Each of us had a bottle of Good Day soju (…maybe…?).
After a solid first round, we paid the bill,
and the owner gave us each a hangover relief stick. Hehe
I hope the owner thrives...>_<????????
First round at Silbi Bar Pado,
and since we were already on a date in Seoul, we went to a nearby bar for a second round.
(But I don't remember the name because we just went to a place with available seats...)
We had a clean second round,
and slightly tipsy, we took a stroll through Myeongdong.
We finished with ice cream and headed home :)
