A Family Trip to Jeju: Discovering Delicious Grilled Hairtail

We decided to take an early vacation with our family and visited various famous restaurants.
Among them, I want to introduce a great place near Jeju Airport that impressed us with its plump grilled hairtail.

Upon arriving in Jeju, the vibrant atmosphere of the airport caught my eye.
Since it was a trip with family, my excitement grew even more.
On the way to the restaurant, I could see planes taking off and landing over the lush green grass.
The peaceful scenery with fluffy clouds made it enjoyable to watch.
Finally, we arrived at the grilled hairtail restaurant near Jeju Airport, which had a clean exterior that I liked.
The sign was quite large, making it easy to find.
As a popular place, the waiting area was very accommodating.
We visited during lunch on a weekday, and there was quite a bit of waiting.
The indoor waiting area was cool with air conditioning and had plenty of seating, allowing us to wait comfortably.
Thanks to the modern and clean interior, even the waiting time felt pleasant.
At the entrance, there was a catch table device for easy waiting registration.
I appreciated not having to stand in line and being able to check our order status in real-time.
The beautiful landscape paintings and soft lighting throughout the restaurant enhanced its elegant atmosphere.
It was clear that attention was paid to even the smallest details in this grilled hairtail restaurant near Jeju Airport.
At the entrance, there was a sign indicating a very high hygiene rating for the restaurant.
You could tell they cared about hygiene as much as taste.
When the dishes we ordered from the famous grilled hairtail restaurant in Jeju came out, I was amazed.
The portion was generous, but the presentation was stunning, making me gasp in awe.
The enormous grilled hairtail, almost stretching the length of the table, was expertly filleted by the staff.
The quick removal of bones and flesh added to the excitement of watching.
Once the bones were removed, the tender and thick flesh of the hairtail was finally revealed.
Freshly grilled and steaming, the fish looked so appetizing that it made my mouth water.
The grilled hairtail was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with a delightful nutty aroma.
I took a large piece of the well-seasoned skin and soft flesh and enjoyed it with rice.
The spicy seasoned boneless grilled hairtail was perfectly prepared, making it a true rice thief.
I could finally understand why this place is famous for its grilled hairtail.
The spicy seasoning and tender hairtail paired excellently with white rice.
Just one piece of the grilled hairtail could clear an entire bowl of rice.
Placing rice, hairtail, and pickles on crispy seaweed to make a wrap allowed me to experience another delightful flavor.
The nuttiness of the seaweed embraced the flavor of the hairtail, delivering a mouthful of rich taste.
Not only the hairtail, but the grilled mackerel that came with it also showcased the perfect outer crispiness and inner moisture.
Its golden-brown appearance whetted our appetite, and even the kids enjoyed it.
The mackerel, which was easy to eat with the bones removed, was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
Enjoying it with the special sauce doubled the flavor.
The grilled abalone that arrived sizzling on the iron plate looked incredibly fresh.
The shiny abalones were perfectly sized for a single bite.
The abalone, picked up with chopsticks, had a chewy yet tender texture that was very appealing.
The subtle aroma of butter enhanced the natural sweetness of the seafood.
The soy sauce marinated crab served as a side dish was packed with meat and wasn’t salty, making it a delightful treat.
With no fishy taste, the cleanly aged flavor kept everyone in the family reaching for more.
The basic side dishes were quite diverse, making it enjoyable to pick and choose.
From white kimchi to various seasoned vegetables, the carefully prepared side dishes were very satisfying.
The meat that accompanied the dishes was also well-marinated.
With a tender texture and a variety of vegetables, it was perfect to enjoy.
The seaweed soup, which had a deep flavor, was also impressive.
Thanks to the warm broth infused with the essence of the sea, it provided a comforting feeling.
Colorful candies placed at the checkout counter perfectly wrapped up our meal.
Even a single candy for palate cleansing felt like a thoughtful gesture towards the customers.
On the way out, we also found refreshing Hallabong juice, a must-have item for Jeju trips.
Finishing with a sip of sweet and cool juice allowed us to end our perfect family meal on a high note.
Thanks to the fresh fish and various side dishes, it was a hearty meal.
