A Delightful Visit to Dolpanhwaju in Busan

Hello, this is Dani!
During my recent vacation, I visited Busan and had a fantastic experience at Dolpanhwaju in Seomyeon!
Dolpanhwaju is located at 59, Jungang-daero 680beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, on the first floor.
It operates from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM; Friday to Saturday, 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM; and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
The venue is just a 5-minute walk from Exit 6 of Seomyeon Station, situated on the vibrant Street of Youth.
We arrived around 6 PM, and the place was already buzzing with diners enjoying their meals and drinks!
This summer, they introduced new menu items featuring ube and mango bingsu!
Ube is trending right now, and this place is definitely at the forefront of the trend, embodying the MZ generation vibe!
The interior features a sleek black design, reflecting the marble and stone plate theme of the restaurant.
We could also watch baseball games on the TV and projector!
The menu includes:
- Stone Plate Cheese Pork Ribs (for two) - 18,900 KRW
- Stone Plate Gopdori Stew - 33,000 KRW
- Stone Plate Octopus and Sausage - 34,000 KRW
- Spicy Chicken Feet - 34,000 KRW
- Stone Plate Octopus and Shrimp - 34,000 KRW
The dishes are perfect as side dishes or main meals, with various options like acorn jelly salad, buckwheat noodles, fried eggs, mango bingsu, stone plate jjapaguri, and cold noodles available!
On the 10th of every month, they have a half-price event for gopdori stew and chicken stew!
Ordering the cheese menu also comes with a fire show!
They offer free injeolmi rice cakes and a highball during the Naver review event!
With so many benefits, it's a great place to visit!
The tables are set for four, and the side dishes included perilla leaves, salad, pickled radish, potato salad, and soft tofu!
The air conditioning was perfectly set in the outdoor area.
If you're looking for a great outdoor drinking spot in Seomyeon, Dolpanhwaju is the place to be!
The first floor is a cozy bar, while the second floor features a charming outdoor area!
While the restrooms are located on the second floor, they are clean and well-separated for men and women, which is always a plus!
The dishes we ordered arrived with stunning presentation.
Dolpanhwaju has a guide on how to enjoy the food on their tablet!
When you take a photo, they provide an impressive fire show!
They used a flamethrower instead of a regular torch, which was quite a surprise!
The cheese on my pork ribs melted beautifully, sizzling on the stone plate.
The ribs were incredibly tender, easy to pull apart with chopsticks.
They paired well with the mayo provided, creating a delightful flavor combination!
Eating the ribs without fried rice would be a mistake!
Fried rice is a must-have for any Korean meal!
It was prepared right at our table, beautifully garnished with a flower design!
This combination of seasoned ribs, fried rice, fried egg, and mayo was heavenly!
After enjoying our meal, I found that adding the perilla leaves to the fried rice gave it an extra kick!
Dolpanhwaju is truly a fantastic spot for a meal!
