A Delightful Trip to Jeongseok House in Busan

During the Chuseok holiday, I traveled to Busan and heard about a famous meat restaurant near my accommodation. This led me to Jeongseok House, located in the Jwadong Traditional Market.
The visual appeal of Jeongseok House's Hanwoo Yukhoe (raw beef) is remarkable. I love Yukhoe, so it's always one of the first dishes I order at a meat restaurant. The taste was incredibly fresh and juicy.
Let me introduce the delicious meat restaurant that my family enjoyed! This is a genuine review from my own experience.
We headed to the market for dinner. My husband, who knew a good meat place, took us there while I was busy searching for nearby restaurants.
Jeongseok House, Haeundae, Busan
Address: 38-16, Jwadong-ro 91beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan
Operating Hours: 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM
Last Order: 11:00 PM
As we walked deeper into the market, we spotted the sign. The restaurant is easily visible once you enter from the road, with parking available in front. The entrance exuded a unique atmosphere.
Parking is available right in front of the restaurant. If that is full, there is a public parking lot nearby.
Upon entering, the first impression was cozy. The lighting and table settings created a nice ambiance. Since we arrived before 6 PM, the restaurant was still relatively quiet. There are private rooms available, making it perfect for gatherings.
Thanks to our early arrival, we were lucky to be seated by the window. Curious about the restaurant, I asked the staff for permission to take photos inside. Although I was dining with my husband’s money, my professional instincts kicked in.
Ordering is done via tablets provided at each table. My daughters were engrossed in the menu, and we decided on the Jeong set, Yukhoe, and Yukhoe Mul-naengmyeon (cold noodles).
The side dishes served as part of the meal were delightful. Starting with a refreshing Muk-sabal (cold mung bean soup), we were given sweet and sour onions and various sauces that complemented the meat.
A salad with nuts, along with three types of kimchi (napa cabbage, mustard leaf, and green onion), and three types of pickled vegetables were also served.
The Yukhoe, which my younger daughter and I love, had a unique sauce that enhanced its nutty and lean flavor. I was glad we ordered it.
The Yukhoe Mul-naengmyeon was visually intriguing. The icy broth combined with the Yukhoe was surprisingly good. I found myself finishing the entire bowl.
Watching my husband grilling the meat while my daughters enjoyed their meal brought a smile to my face. Hearing my husband say that it tasted better knowing he bought it resonated with me. The Jeong set is a signature pork assortment selected with care by Jeongseok House.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo of the meat set because we were too busy eating, but I managed to capture what was left. The quality of the meat was evident, and it was great to enjoy it without any unpleasant odors.
Being with my daughters made me feel happy. With the family gathered together for the holiday, my husband seemed more energized. Family truly shines when they are together, and I felt a sense of reassurance just being there. Watching my daughters enjoy their meal was satisfying.
As part of a review event, we received complimentary drinks! The quality of the grapefruit ade was impressive. Plus, registering the restaurant as a favorite gave us a discount coupon that we used immediately.
For dessert, we were served corn ice cream. Holding our ice cream while walking through the market on our way home made me hum a tune.
In terms of taste, the quality of the meat was excellent, allowing us to enjoy our meal thoroughly. I was captivated by the rich and lean taste of the pork. The staff were friendly and responded quickly, making the dining experience comfortable.
Jeongseok House in Haeundae, Busan, offers great food and service! I think I will only eat meat here when I visit Busan in the future.
