The charm of domestic travel lies in discovering delicious restaurants in each region. Recently, I visited a seafood restaurant in Yeosu called Dolsan Sashimi House, and I was so impressed that I want to share my experience.

Located near the Yi Sun-sin Square, this restaurant, known as Yeosu Hamo Shabu Shabu, is perfect for a meal after exploring the area. It was just a minute's drive from the Dolsan Bridge.

The restaurant offers a dedicated parking area, making it convenient for visitors with vehicles. If parking is full, there are also roadside spots available right in front of the restaurant, allowing for a relaxed dining experience without parking worries.

Open every day without breaks, the restaurant starts serving at 10 AM and stays open until midnight, making it easy to drop by for breakfast or a late dinner. I visited in the afternoon for a late lunch after some sightseeing, and despite the odd timing, the place was bustling with customers, proving its popularity.

The spacious tables are perfect for large families or gatherings, and the layout allows for comfortable dining. It felt like a suitable place to bring older relatives as well.

As the food started arriving, I was amazed by the generous side dishes, primarily seafood, which were all delicious.

The fresh live octopus was chewy and delightful, while the thick abalone had a rich, nutty flavor without any fishy taste. The quality of the seafood was high, ensuring a satisfying meal.

There were also plump scallops that burst with flavor, offering a delightful chewy texture. The lack of any fishy smell allowed me to fully enjoy their natural taste.

No seafood restaurant experience is complete without corn cheese. The combination of sweet corn and savory cheese was irresistible, and I finished every last bite.

By the time the main dishes arrived, the large table was filled with beautifully plated sashimi. The variety allowed for an exciting range of tastes and textures, and I savored each bite.

The sashimi was thickly cut, providing a satisfying chew, and it was incredibly fresh. I enjoyed it with wasabi soy sauce and dipping sauce, indulging in various combinations.

The sashimi looked so fresh it glistened. Each piece had a wonderful texture, and with every bite, the subtle sweetness and nutty flavor emerged, showcasing why fresh sashimi is so delicious.

I also tried wrapping the sashimi in seaweed, which enhanced the flavor experience with the seaweed's crunchy texture complementing the sashimi's chewiness.

I paired a slice of sashimi with a leaf of napa cabbage, and surprisingly, this combination worked wonderfully. The crispness of the cabbage paired perfectly with the sashimi's texture, making it a refreshing choice.

Enjoying fresh sashimi with a glass of soju was a delightful experience, as the combination of seafood and chilled soju was simply perfect.

To finish, we had spicy fish soup loaded with vegetables and fish. It was refreshing and hearty, with plenty of meat to enjoy.

The broth was clear and flavorful, providing the perfect conclusion to a meal filled with seafood delights.

If I visit Yeosu again, this restaurant will definitely be on my list. I often recommend it to friends planning a trip to Yeosu.
