All ingredients such as rice, chili powder, beef, and pork are domestically produced.

The restaurant interior was surprisingly spacious, clean, and pleasant!
They manage the restaurant very cleanly and seem to clean thoroughly.

Not many restaurants cover the backrests of dining chairs, so I thought the owner was very detail-oriented.
They have various table sizes for 4, 6, and 8 people, so it seems great for family meals or group dining.

For busy office workers during lunchtime, they seem to take reservations and prepare the table in advance.
They have high chairs for babies!
You can refill additional side dishes at the self-service bar. The self-service bar is fully stocked.

Plates, scissors, and ladles are all prepared, so you can freely use them if needed.
I'm always concerned about hygiene when visiting a restaurant, and the self-service bar was impeccably clean, which I liked.
They accept Andong Love Gift Certificates and even have after-meal candies prepared.

The staff at Songhwachon in Andong were very friendly, which made the mealtime pleasant and enjoyable.
✨ Today's Order ✨
Korean Beef Rice Soup (Hanwoo Beef Gukbap): ₩10,000
Spicy Stir-fried Octopus (2 servings): ₩22,000

Today's table setting, served looking appetizing!
I could feel the care and effort in the neatly and generously prepared meal.

It came in brassware, giving it a traditional Korean feel, and it felt neat and well-served.
I recommend Songhwachon as a clean Korean restaurant.
Dad was in a good mood to be dating his daughter after a long time!

As soon as we sat down, they set the basic side dishes right away.
Kimchi, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), egg rolls, onions, green chili peppers, and ssamjang (seasoned soybean paste) were served.

All the side dishes are made directly by the owner, and you can feel that each one is prepared with care.
I really love egg rolls!
I was happy with the side dishes that were served so prettily.

The spicy stir-fried octopus comes with seasoned vegetables for mixing and beef soup.
I didn't expect it to be this generous!

Just looking at the bright red sauce makes my mouth water.
There are also minced chili peppers on the table, so those who like spicy food can add them to their liking.

The seasoned vegetables include soybean sprouts, lettuce, radish, and shredded seaweed, and all the vegetables are fresh and in good condition.

I put a bowl of freshly cooked, warm rice on top and mixed it well with the spicy stir-fried octopus.

The octopus was tender and soft, with a great texture, and the spicy and savory sauce was addictive. It was a sweet and spicy taste that any Korean would love.

The combination with the seasoned vegetables was also perfect.

Chewy and plump octopus!
The portion of the spicy stir-fried octopus was so generous that even after mixing two bowls, there was a lot left, so I put it on top of the bibimbap like a side dish.
The combination of spicy sauce and egg rolls is also excellent.

Dad doesn't usually eat more than one bowl of rice, but he said it was delicious and asked if he could have another bowl.
He ordered another bowl.

The sauce is really delicious!
The signature dish of Songhwachon, a Korean restaurant in Andong, is the Korean Beef Rice Soup, which is full of beef and ingredients at a glance.

They packed the rice very tightly, and it seems like the owner's generosity is also included.

Songhwachon's Korean Beef Rice Soup is characterized by the absence of soybean sprouts or taro.

It is characterized by a lot of napa cabbage, which gives it a soft texture, and the broth, which looks rough but has a deep, rich, and clean taste, is a delicacy.
It was Korean Beef Rice Soup.

The beef is also thinly sliced, so it is not tough and is soft. There is also a lot of scallions and radish, so it is very refreshing and relieves the stomach.
It is a very filling meal, and the refreshing and clean broth seems perfect for a hangover.

Dad said it was just like the old-fashioned beef rice soup, and he enjoyed it so much that I was very satisfied.

Finished with a refreshing broth!

I had a really delicious meal. The owner was also very kind, which made lunchtime even happier. She said it was nice to see a mother and daughter eating together.

Songhwachon, a Korean restaurant in Andong, is a place that you keep thinking about once you visit.

The food is generally clean and the portions are generous, so I highly recommend Songhwachon for office workers' lunch.
